"We're helping him, as we should. We've gotten pretty good at this over the years," he told the Palm Beach Post over the weekend. "We've spent a lot of money in Wisconsin. We're going to spend more."

According to the Wisconsin Democracy Project, the Koch-funded Americans for Prosperity, along with another group, spent $1.1 million on three TV ads for Walker in the fall and spent an additional $700,000 earlier this month on another ad buy. http://www.progressive.org/koch_brother_brags_about_helping_walker.htm

"A Few Americans For Our Own Prosperity at the Expense of Everyone Else" is more like it.

This is exactly what it is about.

Gee, where are all those Tea Party folks that want unification? I can't see them anywhere.......

[-] 3 points by beautifulworld (6075) 2 months ago

The Tea Party is over. LOL!

[-] 2 points by GirlFriday (4663) 2 months ago

[-] 2 points by beautifulworld (6075) 2 months ago

LOLOL!

[-] -2 points by tomahawk99 (-26) 2 months ago

they are in Wash D.C. and state capitals impacting policy , which is the next logical step. Can't be stuck protesting forever.

[-] 3 points by beautifulworld (6075) 2 months ago

Impacting policies in what way? Not my way. Not the way that is best for the majority of Americans in my opinion.

[-] -2 points by tomahawk99 (-26) 2 months ago

that's why its called a democracy. What do you think Occupy is trying to do?

[-] 3 points by beautifulworld (6075) 2 months ago

Fair enough. We'll see who wins in the end. We should at least all come together to get money out of politics. Agreed?

[-] 1 points by tomahawk99 (-26) 2 months ago

now we are talking. i'm a conservative but agree with some of Occupy's points. I listen, and i decide which policies, i think , in my humble opinion are best for me, my family and country.

[-] 1 points by beautifulworld (6075) 2 months ago

Nice.

In support of that as well as cleaning up legislation. Getting rid of earmarks etc.

[-] 1 points by beautifulworld (6075) 2 months ago

Thanks, DKAtoday. We should all be able to agree on this one huge thing.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (7290) from Coon Rapids, MN 2 months ago

Yep. Forget party politics or party leanings or anything else that works to divide us. We should be beyond that crap and be uniting under common cause. Leave politics out of it.

So, he's saying corrupting the American political system has become routine for them. Another reason for a very high marginal tax rate.

[-] 2 points by factsrfun (4519) 2 months ago

He sounds like somebody talking about a new car they just bought.

[-] 2 points by GirlFriday (4663) 2 months ago

Didn't they?

[-] 2 points by factsrfun (4519) 2 months ago

True enough, but I heard there was a recall on that model :).

[-] -1 points by SameOldSong (-5) 2 months ago

No, the union says it's theirs and it isn't for sale. LOL.

Who cares abotu holding the ones you VOTE for accountable. Just keep attacking the ones you didnt.

That makes a lot of fuckin sense.

Like yelling at someone else's kids while your own rob the neighbors.

[-] -1 points by tomahawk99 (-26) 2 months ago

if this is true, what's wrong with a private citizen spending money to support a democratically elected governor? Liberals and left wing fund politicians why aren't you going after them? Soros, Tides Foundation, ACLU, CAIR....

[-] 2 points by shooz (7359) 2 months ago

We aren't affiliated with FLAKESnews.

I thought you knew that?

You probably don't know FLAKESnews lies either, or that Murdock likely is a criminal.

[-] 0 points by tomahawk99 (-26) 2 months ago

if you can't debate, then save your typing strokes for someone else.

[-] 1 points by shooz (7359) 2 months ago

Wait......What???

You call what you do debate???

You must be a (R)epelican't. It's the only explanation that fits.

[-] -1 points by KochRocks (-70) 2 months ago

We know that you libtards are only affiliated with media (sucks) matters

[-] 1 points by shooz (7359) 2 months ago

Why do you keep bring up mediamatters?

The few times I've been there, I could find no lies.

FLAKESnews does nothing but lie and misdirect.

You're perfect example.

[-] 2 points by GirlFriday (4663) 2 months ago

Just so we are clear, you have no problem with them literally purchasing the state of Wisconsin. Further, you have no problem with ALEC.

[-] -1 points by tomahawk99 (-26) 2 months ago

i support the right for ALEC to exist just like the Media Matters, SIEU, ACLU, moveon have a right to exist. the governor of Wisconsin was elected fairly. The unions are trying to recall him, as they have the right to do or try to do. I don't see you complaining about the big Union money in Wisconsin or Indiana, Ohio to support what they want.

[-] 2 points by GirlFriday (4663) 2 months ago

I just want to make sure that I heard you. You support corporations writing legislation.

[-] 2 points by shooz (7359) 2 months ago

You have to support ALEC, because (R)epelican'ts are too stupid to write their own legislation.

That's why the corporations created it.

It's really rather sad.

[-] 2 points by GirlFriday (4663) 2 months ago

Yep.

[-] 1 points by GirlFriday (4663) 2 months ago

I just want to make sure that I heard you. You support corporations writing legislation.

[-] 0 points by tomahawk99 (-26) 2 months ago

just want to make sure that i heard you, you support Unions writing legislation?

[-] 1 points by GirlFriday (4663) 2 months ago

That is what I thought. You sure do. Thanks, tomahawk. Good to know what you are about.

[-] 0 points by tomahawk99 (-26) 2 months ago

don't be so closed minded. i support some of occupy's ideas, but come on, do you blindly support what Unions do politically with their money?

[-] 2 points by GirlFriday (4663) 2 months ago

No, you don't. You don't support OWS and it is very clear. You have no problem with ALEC and the Koch heads.

[-] -3 points by KochRocks (-70) 2 months ago

Who in their right mind would support OWS???? it is about ready to be taken off life support

[-] 1 points by GirlFriday (4663) 2 months ago

Keep dreaming.

[-] 1 points by shooz (7359) 2 months ago

That's the point, silly.

People of "right" mind don't support anything that's the correct thing to do.

In fact, it's the "right" that needs all the life support it can get.

That's why their PACs are taking in so much money, and knew they needed Citizens United to have any hope of survival.

[-] -1 points by KochRocks (-70) 2 months ago

Ok so you are saying that (raping, murder, social unrest, filth, destruction of property), that goes on in OWS, is the right thing to do??? No thank you

[-] 1 points by shooz (7359) 2 months ago

No silly, that's what the (R)epelican'ts and their cohorts do.

You should lay off the crack pipe and shut off FLAKESnews.

It makes you flakey.

Is it fun to be that confused?
