XL tar sands pipeline is designed to allow Canadian crude to escape the United States oil market, increasing profits for oil companies and driving up domestic gasoline prices, Bloomberg reports. Producers including Exxon Mobil could make $4 billion more every year if the pipeline increases prices as expected. “The higher crude prices also would erase the discount enjoyed by cities including Chicago, Cheyenne and Denver,” an energy analyst told Bloomberg. In February, Republican legislators — including those whose constituents would be hit by high gas prices if the pipeline is built — voted against an amendment that would have prevented TransCanada from selling Keystone XL crude to the export market. .....................where is the logic there? this is Nothing to do with gas pricing, BUT with anti-monopoly committee. Pipe line by itself should be profitable and therefor reduce gas prices.

There you go looking for the truth again. What this about is the Koch brothers getting what they want before they will give to money to the GOP in Congress.

Like a drug addict, they will say anything to get their drug which is money. Anything. And you can trust them to sell their mother to get their drug.

Once you know who they are and what they are doing you must ignore them frustrate them and watch for every possible desperate trick in the book and some not in it yet.

Sad to say, but if the addicts (GOP) want it somebody behind them is exploiting the country. There needs to be a RICO investigation of the GOP.
