Are criminals in the financial sector being protected from prosecution in the name of some perceived connection to national security? If so, how do we prove this and isn't this yet another reason the pentagon and DHS should be audited and investigated. It seems to me that these entities are causing more problems than they solve and are a detriment to our society, it's citizens, and the world in general.

Some examples of both misuse of law enforcement and high level cover ups by people that are politically connected, all to do with wall street.

Strangely, I cannot find the video today but on PBS last night on a show called NBR, they talked about how JP Morgan was in possession of that money, transferred by MF to cover a shortfall in JP Morgans' margins. This very connection was made over a month ago by threads being posted on the web that look at first glance to be conspiracy theories, until last night when it was also mentioned on NBR. If it turns out that the conspiracy theorist are right, we haven't seen the real collapse yet.

I would like to do an article on this so if you have links or info on this, please share it on this thread.

It wouldn't surprise me. Every war crime committed has been done in the name of national security.

They use those 2 words to break the law and keep things secret very often.
