it seems to me that activism isn't doing much except getting attention. politicians aren't listening. its time to show them who runs the county.

now is the time to take back our country.

can i re-direct to the original question... if you want the 'old stuffy' people out of congress, who's gonna take their spot? why aren't we pushing to remove their power? isnt the house supposed to be comprised of people representing the people? if they're not doing their job, why not fire them?

you "fire " them by voting for their opponent.

I would say first get to know your competition .... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam_Kinzinger right ?

what are his positions... how do you differ... etc... have you been to an occupation in the district ?... is there one ?... how close to Chicago are you

adam kinzinger is in the old 11th district. all the districts were re-drawn after the census. check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_House_of_Representatives_elections_in_Illinois,_2012 and scroll down to 11th district. i know the competition, biggert and foster will most likely win their primaries. id like to meet with them and discuss my issues directly, although i know how they feel on some of them. i live and work in the area and touch a lot of the blue collars that keep the towns running.

"...i have no idea what i'm doing...."

that's a refreshing change... an HONEST politician ... you got my vote just for that ... ;)

thanks, but i'm not a politician. i'm just a working guy tired of the lack of legislature supporting us.

the obstacles to getting into office might be too much, but i'm fed up and need to do something.

Which seat are you running for? Do you have a party? Are you familiar with www.americavotes.org (or .com maybe)?
