Forum Post: Is another reason for the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) just a way to keep useless agencies going besides their ability to work around due process

After 9-11 we created Homeland Security,which was strange with all the law enforcement agencies we already have and things grew from there. With less need for them overseas, say iraq, then they come home and need something to do here. My question, is this another way to keep agencies and people employed as well as important or necessary in the name of security. http://goo.gl/rI3gd

if anything, the people should be vigilant and report publicly any danger so the people can access and deal with threats
