Forum Post: Iran NOT Building Nukes: LA Times, NY Times

With bloody noses from wars in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan, the advocates for yet another no-win war push ahead. How many lives must we lose? How many people maimed? How much taxpayer money will be wasted on blowing things up instead of building America, creating jobs and cutting taxes? But the candidates, media and Israeli lobby force another war.

From the article:

"U.S. intelligence agencies don't believe Iran is actively trying to build an atomic bomb."

This is important.

Yes! It must be flashed in the candidates' faces. US intelligence didn't have confidence in Chalabi too but the Iraq war was prosecuted. The Israeli lobby is too powerful for war.

I agree.

Meanwhile Clinton is pushing for Syria intervention. This is the next NATO (US) war. Not our business. Founding Fathers: Avoid foreign entanglements.

This is irrelevant, its what the ameriKKKan people think that matters.

The majority of the earth's population think the Iran War is an oil grab.

The system is just covering its ass here so there is no embarrassment like last time when no evidence was found. The War is already too far in motion to be stopped, to many people are already on the war payroll, too many assets have already been deployed.

The Iran War is like the 5 blind men and the elephant in India, one blind man holds the leg and thinks its a tree, another the trunk and is sure its a snake. They're all partially correct but totally wrong.

The Oil War's all along have all been about forcing nations to sell their OIL in US Dollars, and every time somebody say's they want Euro's or Gold we take that country out.

The War will go on,

Let's not forget that it was the US government that told Iran back in the 1970's to go nuke that it shouldn't be dependent on oil for the future.

The USA has nothing except nukes, guns, and paper dollars. It has no food, and is a net importer of gadgets, all its job's have been exported. If these country's are not forced to sell their oil in dollars then the USA has nothing left to trade.

What your witnessing is the death of the USA and the powerful bankers making the last attempts to keep the Titanic from sinking.

But NOTHING can stop this process now the ship is going down, in time nobody on earth will sell their food, oil, or gold for US dollars.

In addition, the media, suicidal right, Israeli lobby, AIPAC and in Israel itself are twisting Congress' and the President's arms for war. This in spite of US and Israeli intelligence warning against it.

I think war with Iran would be a bad idea, that's for sure. But that article simply states that Iran is not trying to build a warhead, but are doing research that could put them into position to build a warhead. I think this reporter is splitting hairs.

Don't you think they want BOTH nuclear power and a nuclear warhead? They are both pretty desirable things for a country like Iran to have. Most people are convinced that this research is either for energy or a weapon, when in reality it is likely for both.

[-] 1 points by bklynsboy (834) 12 years ago

Possibly. They also want to posture for their neighbors. They want to dominate the region, and the US has immeasurably helped by neutering Iraq, their natural counterbalance. But in the end, they know it's suicide. A very dangerous game they're playing.

I still prefer that the word be out that Iran is NOT building nukes. I do get your points about everything else.

[-] -2 points by owsleader2016 (12) 12 years ago

Who would be listening??

Just google "Iran war for oil", ... and you'll see that every damn media on the face of the earth except the USA-MSM knows that the the Iran War ain't about nukes.

They're just covering their ass, so that nimrod's don't have to be endlessly debriefing the press corp about why no nukes were found post invasion.

This OBAMA government is MUCH more calculating and evil than BUSH.

Bush was a babe in the woods compared to the OBAMA machine. They intend to have all their bases covered, and run to victory in the election of 2012 on the basis of Obama being the strongest War President in history, and no fucking debate about 'yellow cake' or any non-sense from the CIA. The USA will kill Iran children because they can, and they will because its the right thing to do to keep the US economy running on cheap oil.

What's astounding is the Western Hemisphere has enough natural gas to get off oil! But Big Oil bought the congress and president.

I'm not disagreeing with you.

Yes.

Much is directly related to Fossil Fuel - power and corruption.

Push for regulations people while pushing for "TRUE" Green energy creation implementation and independence.

The problem is a radical change in lifestyle, but it starts with YOU.

I personally ride a bicycle, walk, or MOPED 100% of the time, when I leave my village more than 10km I take a public bus.

Too many ameriKKKan's are addicted to auto's, ...only when there is a complete change of lifestyle will the oil wars end. That said the US oil industry destroyed public transportation back in the 1930's in order to sell auto's and oil to the public, ... today there are TOO many vested interests.

But a lot of smart young people live in portland-oregon, and ride bikes all year round and are off the grid.

It starts with you.

not having a job or any money at all

is a little worse than taxes

[-] 1 points by bklynsboy (834) 12 years ago

Yes! And US resources are dedicated to war instead of job creation. The excuse of war creating jobs is unacceptable. Jobs for civilian products are 3x more effective than building bombs and jets.

Of course it isn't. If they did have a bomb, who would they use it on?...Israel?.. With all those Palestinians there? What would that accomplish?

They know the truth but, with the exception of Ron Paul, are just too scared of AIPAC to speak it.

[-] 1 points by bklynsboy (834) 12 years ago

Israeli lobby forces US into actions not in our interests.

[-] 0 points by DevilDog420 (133) from Saratoga Springs, NY 12 years ago

Dude there's more Jews in greater NYC area than in all of Israel, their interest is our interest, the same as the Japan, Italy, Taiwan, S. Korea, What's even more true is the interest of the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia. Our culture, language, and religion are one.

[-] 2 points by bklynsboy (834) 12 years ago

Decades ago US presidents hammered out a 2 state solution that would have brought peace to the Middle east, Israel, US, the region and probably would have eliminated causes of 9/11. But the fanatical Israel right and powerful US Israel lobby, suicidally, scuttled it as they have done repeatedly. The fanatical Israeli right and their AIPAC extensions want Iran war. Israeli intelligence and generals, and heavy US intelligence state Iran is NOT building nukes or is a threat. Israel attacking Iran draws the US into a regional proxy war with Iran, Russia and China, when Iran is NOT a threat as stated by US intelligence. This is in our interests dude?
