Trump bullying Dr. Ford now.

Perhaps as a mental health professional treating the 1 in 6 men and 1 in 3 women sexually abused as children (from those who speak up and report), who now have trauma and mental health issues as a result as adults...Dr. Blasey Ford did not just speak out for herself, but to give these innocents and the many patients she treated every day a voice. This President has chosen to re-silence them and his staff members sit back and watch and cover for him...including Pence. Children are abused in this country every day. Children who hear his words. Children who will still suffer as adults and struggle to find compassion in this world and feel the shame of something horrible someone else did to them as they struggle in silence. A president's words echoe in their minds. It is a great responsibility and he has failed them. Utter disgrace.

I support the innocents. Impeach Trump! Oust his whole damned administration.

I think this has been happening for a while anyway. Companies and WS and Koch Brothers have been manipulating the American people waging war against our will. Now they are just out and out telling us they will do what they want no matter what people want. Having a supreme court stacked in their odds. They have taken over and destroyed our system of democracy. It won't be long before they begin to rob us blind in the open without apology. They already rob worker wages, bail themselves out with our tax money, and behave as criminals. The question now? How do we overthrow them?

Yep - pretty much an on-going program since the end of the great depression.

She is an advocate who treats people suffering from tragedy and childhood sexual abuse. He played with Daddy's money and pouts everytime he gets criticized on twitter. Poor Trump...his pardon plans for himself spoiling on the shelf. In spite of the abuse allegations...Kavanaugh is a sideshow toolbag. It's almost like the universe or God came back from vacation and was like Jesus Christ what the crap is going on @#$???..um no...fixing/ exposing there we go. phew.

conservatism is a cancer

The sad part is...I think most conservatives are people who suffered abuse themselves. They have become the narcissist party. Instead of coming to terms and growing in compassion...they decided to reject and hate this "weak" part of themselves... kill, and crush those they see as weak...disowning and splitting off that part of themselves and projecting it into others ( who they now deem worthy to hate and command and rule). The person they hate most is inside. Sadly the strength of their hate and control measures their own inner wounds. Only a truly strong person can be openly vulnerable and let others see in. The most weak hide behind masks, titles, armour, ...and financial towers.

They think they are doing us a favor and saving us as they did with themselves ie teaching us to be strong and unyielding and absolute. They have it so wrong. They abandoned and rejected themselves. They don't see themselves clearly. They lie to themselves, and think we will believe the "new truth". What other kind of person could so disdain abuse victims as one who has been abused himself and blames himself? Nor care that child victims may be hearing his horrid rejection?

Trump/ Kavanaugh are as weak as water. Their character runs as deep as a puddle. And their psychological profile is clear as day.

The sad part is their abuser won. They allowed that person to rob them of compassion. If ever there was a gift from God...it would be compassion. In our own acceptance of our weakness and vulnerabilities...we learn to accept and love others. They aren't better than us...they are very sick and spiritually broken.

If only we could find people willing to kill the GOP....

We need a war on child abuse. We are all culpable for the state of this nation. When we choose not to see the root of society's ills, this is what we get...a very abusive society. We discard abuse victims. We stigmatize. We behave as if it is a shameful dirty thing noone should be discussing openly... which makes people feel weird and weak. We do not do enough to protect innocent children. We don't do enough to make survivors feel safe to come forward. The healthcare system openly discriminates against mental health patients. As do most of our institutions. Not only do we fail to prevent abuse, and fail to care for victims after, we are befuddled by the outcomes which we also fail to disect and understand. When abuse victims do not get help, they can end up abusing or hurting others through misguided coping. Our society is very sick, and the cause is staring us in the face...but we refuse to believe it because we all are responsible for the failure. We all play a part in revictimizing and stigmatizing the mental health issues it causes. The GOP is filled with abuse victims who are reabusing the public at large. It is the abuse cycle glaring right into the fabric of our society.

Kavanaugh has displayed many symptoms of male sexual abuse survivors. Displaying prowess yet shying away from sex. Heavy drinking. A storm of emotions welling under the surface. Shame and guilt that go far beyond his highschool actions. A failure to connect the dots. Seeking to avenge his weakness through power and control. Set of one rules for himself and different rules for everyone else typical of narcissistic self protection due to injury.

The other aspect is misdiagnosis. Abuse survivors end up on Adhd drugs. They end up being diagnosed with everything under the sun except the gorilla in the room. Noone wants to believe the possibility. Especially not the parents if they didn't realize it was happening. Noone wants to expend compassion anymore...we haven't the time or patience...and "hey we all have a cross to bear." Our country is in mass denial. It is pretty grotesque. We are failing innocent children and leaving them to deal with the worst thing possible in complete utter aloness. Especially men. The things they joke about and the stigmatizing locker talk about male victims of molestation has reached a point beyond disgusting. At least women have eachother's backs for the most part. Trump supporters aside.

We need a war on child abuse.

Lets just pray that it is not fought the same way the war on drugs has. Just sayin The for profit prison industry will likely be happy - but abused children? - probably not so much.

The drug opiod crisis is just a symptom of the child abuse epedemic. As is the prison epedemic. Whereas women have a tendency to internalize, men unfortunately can become agressive toward others. Criminals are not born, they are made. Same as drug addicts. The real problem is unrecognized and untreated abuse. You can't tell me every single shooter wasn't also an untreated trauma victim. Worse adding aderall to the mix. Misdiagnosing trauma as attention defecit. Giving severely confused and depressed individuals a drug that gives them endless energy is like putting someone in a mixed bipolar state. One in six men are sexually abused as children. We have a one in six shot of saving their lives. The state of mental health and education about sexual abuse in this country is pathetic. The makers of aderall should be stopped.Every single shooter was on it. The drug companies should be culpable.

Our country needs a wakeup call. We need a call for compassion. We must stop stigmatizing sexual abuse. Especially for men. Machismo in our country is out of control. As well as let's stop criminalizing the sexually abused. Safe World Syndrome and denial about this very real danger and threat to children is enabling predators. No parent wants to see that the worst thing possible happened to their own child. But to not find out and treat and intervene amounts to criminal neglect. Is it more important to pretend everything is ok...or to save your child's life/ future?
