Dan, more than 40,000 members of the Daily Kos community have signed our letter to the people of the United Kingdom, telling them Mitt Romney's insulting comments last week do not represent the views of most Americans toward one of our oldest and strongest allies. We are sending the letter and the signatures to the British media tomorrow. The more signatures on the letter, the more widely it will be printed, and thus the more problems it will cause for Mitt Romney.

These are strong points. If one were interested, one could go back to earlier posts of mine and find similar arguments. However Romney scares me to death -- Adelson, Rice, the neocons, etc. He'd bring back all the worst of Bush/Cheney. (On the other hand, his election would resurrect the pathetic antiwar movement.) But I see Romney as just too dangerous.
On top of that, Romney made his millions (billions?) as an economic looter/parasite. If OWS stands for anything there must be a response to that.

He was undiplomatic but he spoke some truths about the preparations for the Olympic Games that need to be told in secret, but not in public. Our most trustworthy ally across the pond took it a bit too seriously. Tongue lashings can help train our guy in diplomacy, though, if he actually ends up leading the U.S.
