I would just like for someone to at least ask that question if I’m going to have to give up my Social Security for this budget deal.

If you ask any REAL economic experts, they will tell you that we do not need to BALANCE the budget
Cut the annual deficit - yes
Borrow money at today's low rates if we need to - for infrastructure

Your answer does not address the basic problem though, the last time we did a huge "budget deal" passed with no Republican votes in 1993, it led to a balance budget by 2000-2001 time frame then when the debt was still around 5 trillion the GOP insisted that we not pay any of it down in the good times but rather pass a big'o tax cut instead, I would like to know if that is their plan this time too.

Absolutely, yes. Because the Fed does take too much money.

Yet taxes are the lowest they have been in like a hundred years, how could that be?

social security, ha thats an oxymoron. Why are we brainwashed into an idea that its better to trust in someone else to provide for us, when if the government would just quit stealing from us and giving our land to banks, we could actually provide for our families ourselves, a much better lifestyle too.

Today I was considering opening a store to sell a selection of quality goods, but because america was stolen from us, there is no place to open a store, neither is there any aid such as a small business loan to help a small business start, (has to be 100% collatoralized), and the government behind the rich elite, bankers, and corporations who have stolen our land to make sure that I pay so much in taxes and business licenses and fees that it assures that my store will NEVER BE OPENED.. Only corporations are allowed to open up stores in our cities now, as even if I try to work from my home, the government will be there to arrest us for violating a zoning ordinance as stated in the constitution) NOT!!!

social security is no different than a government bond and they damn well better back it just as much!

Who needs a phukking store?

Don't you have weekend markets?

Produce outlets? Co-operatives?

All I need is a fold-up table, and a smile.

There is no way to balance the budget. As soon as the economy starts to do a bit better rates are going to have to go up, and when that happens it crashes all over again.
