Forum Post: If the #1 goal of this protest....

I am a supporter of the occupy movement and I believe it's even long overdue. What could possibly be wrong with people protesting for a government that represents the people rather than wealthy conglomerates and corporations, and which currently favors the rich over the poor and middle class. The current system has degraded into nothing better than corruption and greed throughout our political system. In realizing that everything has to start somewhere, if the #1 goal of this protest were to focus on taking corporate money out of the politicians pockets, I believe a drastic change in government could occur and many of the other necessary changes would follow. By drastic I mean once again having our government OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE AND FOR THE PEOPLE. This one change needs to happen ASAP and if the occupy movement could come together and make this their priority issue with an immediate and concrete demand to the government of the United States of America, it would get the whole ball rolling. Anyone that agrees with this, please copy and paste this message everywhere you can, add your own voice to it, and maybe we CAN get the ball rolling for an immediate critical change in our world.
