I recently allowed my anger to escape through a crack about elimination of the rich ["doctors"] from the gene pool. In my defense, that would occur without my hyperbolic recommendation, if evolution were an intelligent process.
Unfortunately, the only way such cleansing of corrupt power is likely to come about is if we allow the ruling class to continue unchecked until they extinguish the human race through their "natural" cupidity. We who are about to die are apparently more stupid than our evil masters.
As to the doctors who say they won't take Medicare (the inspiration for my politically incorrect remark) I'm sure most of them are only putting on a political show to impress an ignorant conservative base. After all, the AMA sets the prices Medicare pays for procedures and the cons have forbid government bargaining with pharmaceutical corps or individual doctors. Any doctor who actually believes Medicare reduces their income is as big a fool as the dupes of the right who internalize all the rants and lies of the O'Reilly, Limbaugh, Hannity demagogues.
I don't care for the ministrations of fools. None of them are apparently able to see that the poor and most seniors would get no medical treatment without the government subsidies. The doctors would get nothing from a large population block if it wasn't for the government money they're paid for such services.
The truth is, doctors hate the Medicare subsidy that bolsters their profits as much as HEB and Safeway despise food stamps. All serious threats to either corporate welfare system never gain traction. The economy would face serious problems if they ever did. Only Tea Party morons buy into that shit!

started off as a rant in response to my agreement with the OP and turned into a post sized one of its own, so i made it so. It's called "Ideas for a better tomorrow".
Sorry about that OP, but yes.. TL;DR i totally agree and it's disgusting as hell that they can justify declining people in order to line their own pockets more at the expense of peoples lives and wellbeing.
For profit, for the money.. the bane of mankind..
I never understood why human health and food has to be about profit... oh right.. because it SHOULDN'T..
All for profit fucking does is grant people the mentality that they only have to do absolutely minimum requirements of a task and get as much profit as they possibly can from doing so. That this has become a cultural trait is so phenomenally stupid it boggles the mind.. it is as anti human as it can possibly get..
Here's some ideas to make the world a better place, because it's really fucking easy to do, but extremely hard to convince the idiots in charge to actually implement.
Free education not run for profit but as a public service and with great focus on hiring skilled people, this becomes a perpetual circle of society self correcting itself.. if you even have to ask why is a great example of how much of a gigantic failure the education system is atm. at teaching people to understand, promote good social values, ethics and morals and most of all independent thought instead of monkey see monkey do. but here goes;
Because smart people are good people, and skilled in their professions, privatized schools only promote elitism and class segregation via either being able to afford it, not being able to, or/and the most disgusting one.. kissing undeserving asses to get somewhere in the world.
Don't give me that shit about them being entitled because they have accumulated a lot of wealth, about 98% of them have done so through nausiating ways, mostly by stepping on other people, insider trading or other corrupt ways like that.
And about 0.000023% of those last 2% have actually done something that truly benefitted the human race or society in general in a real way.. Most of them are not even intelligent or posess good human qualities, they're just good at manipulating and conning people. So they can kindly fuck off with their self entitlement and social darwinism bullshit and shove it up their ass where it belongs.
Free healthcare not run for profit but as a public service! There is no justifiable reason to have peoples health being a financial gamble or being restricted because some people are more interested in profits than being good at their profession to the betterment of everyone.
When you have health systems and medical systems run for profit you get the disgusting shit like "medicine" which is designed only to help you if you take it over a long period, thus maximizing profits. And where doctors are more interested in making money through having a lot of patients, than they are at CURING PEOPLE so they don't have to fucking be there in the first place..
The decrepid inept and completely backwards and corrupt financial system of the world, based on not money, but debt and interest is not only stupid and nonsensical, it is destroying our fucking civilization atm. because it is so ineptly constructed. Therefore an overhaul of the financial system consisting of several steps. a) outlaw all speculation, and sale of stocks and bonds and futures and the rest of this bullshit. It is a way for some people to manipulate themselves to massive amounts of wealth by doing little other than playing with other peoples fates and crushing many whilst doing so.
b) Cancellation of all global debt. Thus completely reversing this financial oblivion from one day to the other.
c) So that the current wealthy people don't get stuck as the wealthiest and thus the ones with the most control over the world, another thing must be implemented. A complete removal of the down and up mobility system, removing classes by doing so.
How? Simple! instead of giving out wages and people needing to worry about if they are going to eat today or if they will get fired. All citizens of the world recieves a set amount of their respective national currency. And limits are set on what they can spend it on instead. However all are obligated to perform a work function, there is in other words no choice in the matter if you are able, and if you don't have some kind of ailment or problem that prevents you from doing so. If you are unhappy with one profession you are free to educate yourself to do another. However ALL positions must be filled, and cycling through the manual labour/dirty job ones might be necessary so that nobody gets stuck doing the more dirty jobs all the time.
Instead of rich people through whatever means being able to control the world and dictating to others what they can and can't do, and people dreaming of getting rich so they can be an asshole to people with impunity. Focus then is shifted from survival to focus on achieving the highest degree of competence and quality in any field. Which will then permeate throughout the entire society in the best of ways as it should.
You do not need free markets in the way it is today with a bunch of vultures trying to eat eachother. You need all to be on the same page with regards to focusing on competence and quality and competing on that and only on that. THAT SHOULD BE THE ONLY THING THAT YOU OUGHT TO COMPETE ON.. not on who can get the most money.. it's so assinine.. try having a shred of self honesty instead of thinking about using the current system to get yours. Dumb......
Money loses its value as a power tool and instead becomes symbolic barter for goods and services. AS IT SHOULD BE.. it's complete mass madness that this archaic money system has been allowed to continue.
Maintain all nations, languages cultures and nation borders. Nobody wants to be forcefully bunched together with 40 people from their general area, half of which they might not even like. That's not uniting a world, that's living in a fucking dreamworld, it won't help anyone get along.
Instead cultures must use eachother as examples to improve their own untill we organically agree so much with eachother across nations that we might start calling ourselves people of earth rather than national denominations and people of various skincolors caused by pigmentation/melanin/geolocation and nutritional differences over various generations as can be seen in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOSPNVunyFQ
Develop a translator language text/voice interface. It's ridiculous to propose that we are going to have one language of the world. It wouldn't be good in the first place, it removes diversity of oppinions which aside from it's obvious downsides at times, is also a great strength if one nation/place on earth goes really shitty, there is always someone left to disagree with it.
Secondly people would never agree to which language should be the universal world language.
Thirdly when we do venture out in space some day we are going to encounter other species, what are we going to do, ask them to speak english or piss off? Unifications of language and culture that are forced like that would obviously make the human race xenophobic and repeat that xenophobia in that way aswell.
Instead develop a system to translate instantly both voice and text in realtime to/from any language on earth using an intermediary meta language as a go between.
Ofcourse these are just suggestions, or the fuckbags in power can go on abusing the worlds citizenry and continue on their path of self destruction, and we can go on being the stupid willing/unwilling participants in the madness we currently laughably call human civilization (because the most part of the world isn't really..)
