Forum Post: Ideas are telepathic

Take the Conglomerate or Departmental Democracy, for example. You think I came up with that? There's a chance, but very unlikely.

When you dream something crazy, how did your mind invent that? Our experiences are shared without physical contact.

You see thousands of people in your dreams you've never met. Information comes to you in dreams that solve your problems.

You've heard of those experiments where a group of people or chimps are isolated and come up with the same solutions. I just heard one where a community was isolated and given crossword puzzles from day-old newspapers. They performed 20% better at solving the puzzles.

Once the information is out there, it's available for anyone to access. It's easier to access for some. Dreamers do well here.

I'm hoping the same ideas are brewing out there, and I need to find where they are coming from, if it's not me. I remember telling my friend maybe a decade ago that I was receiving information, because that's what I really believed, and still believe.

It's all about evolution. The new world is just as likely as the old one.

Ok, that's just weird.

I was just talking about something kind of similar to someone about 'synchronicity'...and I hadn't seen your post till now.

"Just more synchronicity of how 'thinking' people come to a sort of concentration of ideals and thoughts when a situation is dire and solutions need to be found. The cream rises to the top."

[-] 3 points by Builder (4202) 10 years ago

I recall reading about the "hundredth monkey syndrome" somewhere in the past. I think what really stands in the way of the concept of synchronicity is simply the ego, and the capitalistic bent (greed). People want to own an idea, and profit from it.

I've given away my ideas in the past, and continue to do it now.

It's not like I really want to spend a few years dwelling on one idea, while waiting for global patents, and finding venture capital.

I'm happy enough to see the idea become reality.

[-] 3 points by Renneye (3874) 10 years ago

If more people had your spirit...synchronicity would abound!

When synchronicity happens, people kind of marvel at it. Perhaps, many more than we think, would be quite happy to give up the ego, if they knew no-one was going to try and capitalize on a given invention...thereby letting the whole of humanity benefit.

Not to mention that in the past, feelings of synchronicity have been intentionally thwarted by TPTB...used to divide and control, so as not to let the general populace fully feel how strong we are when we become aware and unite against a power gone awry.

But, oh, to be the hundredth monkey and be able to direct this movement to peaceful lasting change for humanity. Uh-oh, looks like I may have a bit of ego to check, myself. Lol!

Taking the time here, Builder, to wish you & yours, and everyone here, a Happy Summer Solstice!

...and, we've got the Rare Full 'Supermoon' this weekend. Lots of good 'enlightening' energy coming. Lets spark some awareness!!

Oh, and Builder...nothing wrong at all, with a little 'savage beast'. You didn't think I'd forgotten, did you? ~.^

[-] 1 points by Builder (4202) 10 years ago

Well thankyou very much, Renneye. It's smack bang in the middle of our Winter here, and I've just bought a really neat worm farm, that's full of worms.

Savage beast, indeed. ;-)

It was an amazing moon. My little girl saw it beside a rainbow and was very happy.

Here's one I'd like R&D on:

Take a giant glass bowl upside down and float it on sea water. Hang a big spike down from the top center. Below the point, float a cup. See if the water evaporates, drips from the point into the cup. See how much salt is in the cup, if the water does indeed evaporate in the dome.

Something tells me this wouldn't work, or it would have been invented.

[-] 1 points by Kavatz (464) from Edmonton, AB 10 years ago

It's quite amazing how some things were meant to be.

You know how sometimes you lose something you just had, then it turns up, maybe at the right time or maybe apparently too late? When it appears, you can't understand why it took so long to find it. It's kind of like looking in the fridge for the mustard but you can't find it, even though it's right there front and center. I got to the point where I now stop and ask myself what it is that's blinding me. I decide that it will turn up when I'm ready (unless I need it right away). I prefer to believe it's not in my control, like a guardian angel type of intervention. Maybe losing that paper and not finding it until after the deadline is like bending down to tie a shoe right before a flying stone takes my eye out.

Agreed, the collective subconscious is not just an analogy. The collected knowledge exists, and we can all access it. I have discovered this myself over time, seeing things I have imagined realized by others, elsewhere. I have seen this over and over. I have seen others create things that I have also created,. nearly identical, yet done independently (I work in a creative field). It is as if the universe desires them created, and puts them out there for those LISTENING to do the physical creation. Whomever does it, is then considered the creator of the thing,. however the idea did come from somewhere, where?

It is an interesting phenomenon, and one to keep an eye out for.

We are all just a dream of the universe.

[-] 0 points by Kavatz (464) from Edmonton, AB 10 years ago

Yes. The universe. That is my "god". Prayer works, the universe listens and provides.

"See, I think drugs have done some good things for us, I really do. And if you don’t believe drugs have done good things for us, do me a Favor: go home tonight and take all your albums, all your tapes, and all your cd’s and burn em’. 'Cause you know what? The musicians who’ve made all that great music that’s enhanced your lives throughout the years... Rrrrrrrrrrrrreal ------ high on drugs." --Bill Hicks

"Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. That we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves. Here's Tom with the weather."

"It's not a war on drugs, it's a war on personal freedom, it´s what it is ok?. Keep that in mind at all times. Thank you!" -- Bill Hicks

Dreaming of that face again. It's bright and blue and shimmering. Grinning wide And comforting me with it's three warm and wild eyes.

On my back and tumbling Down that hole and back again Rising up And wiping the webs and the dew from my withered eye.

In... Out... In... Out... In... Out...

A child's rhyme stuck in my head. It said that life is but a dream. I've spent so many years in question to find I've known this all along.

"So good to see you. I've missed you so much. So glad it's over. I've missed you so much Came out to watch you play. Why are you running away? Came out to watch you play. Why are you running away?"

Shroud-ing all the ground around me Is this holy crow above me. Black as holes within a memory And blue as our new second sun. I stick my hand into his shadow To pull the pieces from the sand. Which I attempt to reassemble To see just who I might have been. I do not recognize the vessel, But the eyes seem so familiar. Like phosphorescent desert buttons Singing one familiar song...

"So good to see you. I've missed you so much. So glad it's over. I've missed you so much. Came out to watch you play. Why are you running away? Came out to watch you play. Why are you running away?"

Prying open my third eye. Prying open my third eye. Prying open my third eye. Prying open my third eye.

So good to see you once again. I thought that you were hiding. And you thought that I had run away. Chasing the tail of dogma. I opened my eye I opened my eye I opened my eye and there we were...

Open my eye Open my eye Open my eye and there you were...

So good to see you once again I thought that you were hiding from me. And you thought that I had run away. Chasing a trail of smoke and reason.

Prying open my third eye. x 10

I do not think that it was telepathy. It may actually be due to our having had the same experience of the problem. Being nothing more than very complex machines, we compute to reach the same idea or solution. Having once interacted, we have created a correlation of our futures no matter how far we have separated from each other, seemingly having telepathy with each other.

That's a good explanation from someone with a scientific mind when there is no evidence backing up a theory. You could very well be right and I'm sure that explanation is responsible in many cases. Why do you suppose people yawn at the same time, including drivers you see in passing cars? There are no facts, just experiments.

[-] 1 points by grapes (5232) 10 years ago

People yawning nearly at the same time may be emulating each other. Human beings have evolved to be social animals because that conferred evolutionary advantage. Being social requires the existence of mechanisms for the transmission of coherence-inducing memes. Yawning may just be part of the memes. We can try filming people yawning and play that recording to other people to see if they yawn, too.

[-] -1 points by Kavatz (464) from Edmonton, AB 10 years ago

Interesting how autistic people respond to yawns different, which contributes to the theory. It could be the evolutionary leftovers of some antiquated social adaptation. A yawn could be another thing that has "lost most or all of its ancestral function". Maybe its an instinctive reflex. A yawn could be the state of entering into telepathic communication, but it fails before it starts.

[-] 2 points by grapes (5232) 10 years ago

Another hypothesis is that yawning ventilates and therefore cools down the bottom of an overheating brain. Do small-brain (more surface area to mass) animals yawn, too?

I suppose that telepathic communication should have brain wave manifestations. If yawing is a precursor of entering telepathic communication, we can try hooking up people to electroencephalogram machines to see if there are any changes in the brain waves when people yawn in near synchrony and if they report telepathic communication.

People and animals yawn to increase the breath that is taken - thought to be triggered by deficiency of oxygen in the system.

[-] 1 points by grapes (5232) 10 years ago

We can hook up oxygen sensors to people and confine them to small enclosed rooms (to reduce oxygen) to see if that induces yawning. If we put people in 100% oxygen rooms, they should not yawn at all.

[-] 1 points by grapes (5232) 10 years ago

Yes, whenever we do experiments, we need to be careful about collateral damages.

[-] -1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 10 years ago

If we put people in 100% oxygen rooms, they should not yawn at all.

Unless they are shown a picture of someone yawning - or even if they think about yawning. Yawning is psychologically contagious.

[-] 1 points by grapes (5232) 10 years ago

Now elucidating yawning is getting murky!

[-] -1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 10 years ago

It is physical need and psychological need. There have been studies. In talking about yawning - have you yawned at all?

[-] 1 points by grapes (5232) 10 years ago

Yes, but I often yawn anyway after focusing and reading a long passage so I like the brain-overheating hypothesis better.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 10 years ago

BTW - do people in warmer climbs yawn more? I have not noticed that I yawn more in the summer as compared to the winter.

[-] 1 points by grapes (5232) 10 years ago

I vaguely recall that I yawned less whenever the weather was much colder. I can start tracking this to get more reliable data.

[-] -1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 10 years ago

Everyone yawns frequently. But in seeing someone yawn - you want to yawn and oft times will - same with thinking about it.

Yawn - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The above link mentions the brain cooling theory as well as others. Also mentions the psychological contagion effect.

Wow, that got a little out of control! Just emphasizing that some mysteries seem easy enough to explain but we may be wrong because there is no definitive proof.

[-] 1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 10 years ago

What was out of control?

[-] -1 points by Kavatz (464) from Edmonton, AB 10 years ago

hehe, I like how you think!

That's interesting. Wouldn't it be a good way to draw out the gifted, and lock them away from society? But then again, the gifted would simply walk away with little effort.

My theory is that ideas, good and bad, flow like waves that can be tapped into. I don't know how to do it intentionally, and have no proof - just a feeling.
