Edwin Black is really, really good. I remember reading that many people that work for IBM have no knowledge of it's prior history.

Do you have a more credible source for this story? Seems pretty far fetched.

Which part? the part about corporations doing bad things? I don't think we need a source for that!

We don't get to call a corporation a Nazi collaborator, and then defend our remarks with an appeal to a generalized grievance against corporations (that has absolutely no direct relevance to the substance of the claims). If someone is going to appeal to fallacious reasoning, they might want to try a right wing web site (their IQ is on average about 12 points lower, so they'll probably have more luck).

I may have plenty of problems with corporate behavior, but I give the same level of intellectual respect to the lunatic fringe on the left as I give to their counterparts on the right, NONE.

This silly bullshit does us no favors, indeed, just the opposite. So if someone is going to level such a serious charge against anyone or any corporation, they should have the integrity to provide credible sources. How can we think anyone should be able to float such a serious charge against anyone they feel like, without proper evidence, and say we're any different from the misinformation, propaganda, bullshit, lies, emotive appeals to tribalism, etc., we're trying to fight against?

It is true. The original book was written about 12 years ago by Edwin Black. I provided a link to Edwin Black in a prior post below. There is a plethora of information available on many American attitudes as well as moves that should have been made but were not. There are new documents in the book but overall this is not new information.

It is imperative that people realize that these events occurred long before most of the IBM employees were born and the odds are that most of them have no knowledge of it. Or didn't until about 12 years ago. We do not crucify Ford employees for Henry Ford's antisemitic views. We should not crucify IBM's employees for Watson's involvement. It is ludicrous.

All of that aside, any arguments or rage is about a decade late.

You didn't provide a citation for the claim that right wingers are lower in IQ points.

Political, religious and sexual behaviors may be reflections of intelligence, a new study finds.

Evolutionary psychologist Satoshi Kanazawa at the the London School of Economics and Political Science correlated data on these behaviors with IQ from a large national U.S. sample and found that, on average, people who identified as liberal and atheist had higher IQs.

Henty Ford was awarded a medal by Hitler too. Joseph Kennedy admired the Nazis. So what?

Ford did a lot more with Hitler than being awarded a medal !

The Nazis didn't lose the war, they just had to move. Our history books are very skewed.
