Forum Post: I saw the debt crisis coming 4 years ago, and proposed solutions...

In early 2008, I was so disgusted with the status quo that I decided to write and publish a hypothetical presidential platform with solutions to what I saw was coming. Of course, no one of consequence took notice and, so far at least, these ideas remain just that for lack of pressure against the vested interests.

In the last four years, the debt crisis has really exploded, the wars have gone on, the corporate and political corruption still goes unpunished and public funds keep going down the drain that private government contractors are, with minimal supervision.

The ideas seem even better now in light of what has transpired since.

I propose these ideas (in whole or in part) as possible concrete demands/solutions for the Occupy Wall St. movement. If the 99% think these ideas have merit, let's push for them!
