ideas:

-write and talk and keep protesting, keep spreading information.

-keep speaking out in public. people will wake up.

-start forming small, sovereign communities of like-minded people committed to rejecting illegitimate outside control (the police)

-start our own militias and our own gardens/farms

-raise all kids to know they are powerful, that they can show their power. they are not sweet little girls and conformist little boys. they are not slaves. they are strong, attractive, well-spoken. home school, self-educate.

-be aggressive but keep ourselves safe, this is a class war beginning.

-destroy public property wherever we go-eventually people will start to think "no! we need change!"

-gang stalk and harass 1%ers, make them know their time is up

-start to commit crimes against the rich, vandalize and frighten their neighborhoods. some one has to be held accountable for what they did to us. this is important.

I understand the trepidation of many about engaging in violent acts. Such behavior appears--at first glance--to play into the hands of the 1%. After all, the general consensus is that the ruling class and their puppet government will respond with overwhelming force, and the conditioned members of the working class will repudiate such a turn of events.

The Boston Tea Party was no sit-in, or occupy-the-ship, or even an in-your-face protest; it was a violent anonymous act (in modern terms: a black bloc) designed to galvanize the average American colonists into a revolutionary force.

The time has come for this generation to start thinking differently, of thinking radically, of galvanizing American workers into a cohesive force for change.

The catalyst for energizing the working class may be repeated doses of non-violent resistance, but it may also entail violent confrontations and attacks. To rule out mobilizing armed resistance plays into the hands of the 1% more than engaging in specific, targeted violent acts that have a demonstrable purpose to American workers.

I don't advocate violence, but believe to rule it out, simply means the workers must lie down like beaten dogs and whimper in a corner.

everyone is lying down and whimpering in corners right now. but we should get up. and start destroying things.

Rage without purpose is meaningless: simply overflowing anger that accomplishes nothing. Rather than thinking of destroying, we should be focused on change, and what will accomplish that change regardless of whether the means are non-violent or violent.

Don't just destroy; destroy with a purpose: to mobilize the working class into a cohesive force that can assume control.

This guy must be a troll, just playing us.

[-] 1 points by TitusMoans (2451) from Boulder City, NV 11 years ago

There must be a reason why someone would display such uncontrolled anger: feigned or real. You may be right.

[-] -1 points by spermcoffinACAB (5) 11 years ago

are you saying im a troll? im not a troll. someone who is a troll is someone who tries to make you mad on the internet. im telling you that i think we should keep going. and watching the police brutality made me want to become violent back. it's too sad. we can't just fall into submission. we have to keep rebelling, rioting. it can't be over. this was my whole reason for living. it can't be over.

And a bad actor too!

i want to throw moltov cocktails into the windows at wall street. everyone has their own anger and their own ways of showing it. i want to raise awareness.

All such acts of random violence would accomplish, would be to anger the great mass of American workers. They may detest the big banks, the corporate crooks as much as anyone, but violent acts, to be accepted as meaningful, need a specific target to deliver a clear message; think of the Boston Tea Party, a black bloc tactic that clearly demonstrated the non-acceptance of colonial taxes specifically on tea.

Any and all Violence will play into 'Their' hands ! THINK !! 'They' yearn for Overt Fascism !!!

non servium...

[-] 1 points by shadz66 (19985) 11 years ago

Maybe & maybe not. Self-defence is no offence - ever ! However 'violence begets violence' !! 'They' wish & imagine that they are prepared for it !!!

It's a confidence game & numbers play - the more of us that there are in Regular Massive Self-Policing Non-Violent Protests they more useless they will seem & the more transparent and fragile 'The House of Cards' will be seen to be !!

Together we're strong ; apart we're fukt !

dum spiro, spero ...

[ps : non servium = 'not the case' ; 'Non Serviam' = "I will not serve"!]

[-] 1 points by jimmycrackerson (940) from Blackfoot, ID 11 years ago

Thanks for clarifying. "I will not serve" is what I was going for.

[-] 1 points by shadz66 (19985) 11 years ago

You're welcome & I suppose you know who/what it is that you are quoting there !!!

vincit que se vincit ....

I'm not exactly sure who first said it. But I think it's actually referring to not serving a "higher being" (ie: God/Satan.)

I came across it in a fiction called Illuminatus. It explains the origins of the term a little, but I don't remember.

[-] 1 points by shadz66 (19985) 11 years ago

The origin of the saying is traditionally attributed to the latter saying it to the former - of the two 'entities' you reference above.

we have to retaliate. they beat us up, bloodied our noses. we can't just lay down and let them do that. we have to show resistance. they already are fascists. i see it here now. i have no options. and i want things to change.

[-] 2 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

Non violence is the only way. protest, rally and join with other like minded groups, Elect progressives. Vote out supporters of conservative policies. Boycotts, strikes, petition, non violence is the only way.

The powers that be want us to be violent so they can label us as criminals. They know how to deal with violence. It is in the playbook. Inciting us to violent acts is in their playbook.

Perhaps if we could get the police brutality on film we can garner support from the population. When Tony Bologny pepper sprayed those innocent girls we grew. There was another non ny cop spraying sitting college protesters very non chalantly. These acts of brutality grow the movement.

Violence that we perpetrate loses support for us.

Why do you want to lose support for us. You may or may not be a troll but you are clearly advising us to do the worst thing possible. your strategy will hurt OWS!

I've heard that police sometimes try to incite violence, infiltrate and encourage illegal acts as a strategy to undermine a movement.

Are you a police officer.?

[-] 1 points by spermcoffinACAB (5) 11 years ago

no im not a cop. im disillusioned and i guess i felt like its not fair for them to just keep beating us. i dont see any way for us to beat the system except to show our anger and have people notice.

[-] 1 points by VQkag2 (16478) 11 years ago

nah. that only hurts the movement. Sounds like you want to hurt the movement.

filmed police brutality against peaceful protesters will grow the movement.

See if yu can get beat by police on film. That'll learn 'em.

Are you sure your not a cop.? Don't you have to say you are if I ask?
