hello, i am an activist of sorts from croatia. i've been checking out your progress and this seems massive... in the sense of massive enough (finally), so here is my two cents:
i strongly feel that this would be an appropriate time to try and co-opt the raw workforce of the repressive system (media centers, police stations, etc). to that end, maybe try and at some point coordinate smaller occupy groups directed at those locations with some raw, simple propaganda directed at the workers there... 'this is it!'...'time to step outside...' whatnot, you decide :)

no worries, kingcross. i've more than enough on my hands trying to do good in my own country. although, understandably, the amount of media coverage that OWS has compared to occupy-croatian-places isn't really in equilibrium, so i don't expect you to know that. just know that we had direct democracy-organized anticapitalist collectives before OWS gained fame, before arab spring, etc. :)
and gnomunny - europe is in quite an uproar at the moment. massive protests across the eurozone, student uprisings on the balkans, etc. i honestly don't know the last time that popular discontent was this widespread.
I can't say anything about you leaving this country because you are already in Croatia. To be honest don't do me any favors and come over here.
Greetings croatia, and thank you for your support. A small number of media members (Keith Olbermann for one) as well as some members of the military and law enforcement are sympathetic to our cause although members of the last two groups must, understandably, keep a low profile for now. It is essential to gain, if not by direct support at least in sympathy, those pillars of the establishment in order to succeed. Meanwhile, I urge you to be in touch with our brethren in Europe and continue the good fight. We must remain global in our solidarity.
i see. well, thanks for replying. i've been following via stream and RT and here, it looks pretty intense... can't imagine how it must feel to be down there. should you guys actually manage to occupy WS...

It's already been suggested that a protest be organized outside Fox News in NY - I'm not in NY - hopefully some of those who are will see the value in it.
