I have seen this problem coming since the internet stock boom. Me, I am a out of work chef. I have seen all of my job opportunities disappear because of the invasion of illegal immigrants. I dont blame them, they are here to make money to support their families. And most of them are stand up people. But over the last 15 years or so they have lowered the paying wages.

Now with the economic slowdown workers are being laid off in an industry that at one time seemed to never stop growing. And they are always willing to take less pay, so who gets stuck without a job? You guessed it.

I am very savy when it comes to economics. I have predicted basically everything that has happened for the last 10 years. I probably could have made a fortune off of the stock market, but didnt. I knew there was something wrong. It basically comes down to when the natural laws of economics do not apply, something is wrong.

We became a nation full of blue collar workers who produce, and service to a nation full of white collar workers with completely inflated salaries, because of inflated prices. Lets just say a real estate sales person in 2006 got 5% commision on a home sold for 300 thousand ($15000). Now to make that $45000 that they want to make they only have to sell 3 homes a year. Now what if the price was 100 thousand instead of three? Now they would have to sell 9. And therefore instead of having 3 jobs as real estate agents you have 1. Now this can be applied to almost any industry. And people want to know where all the jobs have gone? Hmmm and while all this is happening lets move all the manufacturing jobs out of the country, give all the service jobs and blue collar jobs to the illegal immigrants. Hmmm where have all the jobs gone?

Jobs are outsourced because the wealthy in this country have been allowed to hoard the wealth from the corporations. The wealthy have sent the jobs abroad to make make more money and pay less for foreign labor. All problems in US today is due to one reason uncontrolled human greed.

I am not blaming people. I am just explaining some of the outcome of these policies. Most people do not even understand how or why we got to this point, they just know that we are in economic turmoil.

Why are you blaming people instead of policies (and the class of people that implements them)?

Specifically, look at NAFTA, and what it's done to the economies of Latin America.

Now look at who passed NAFTA and who's been pushing NAFTA.

The problem does not lie with people trying to make a living. It lies with corporations, financial institutions, and the government that they've colonized.

One can say this all started in 1970 the year after we had the last true surplus. The beginning of inflation. The beggining of union busting. The beginning of the destruction of the working class. Nixon and his cronies (some of who are still in positions of power in the Washington, and who served in all republican presidential staffs since) with their corporate Favoritism.....
