When former president Clinton lied to the American people, we tried to Impeach him, Why don't we call for the impeachment of Congress, senate, and the president for lying to the American people, and taking bribes from corporations? We are big enough to call for a case to be brought to the supreme court and I know that they can not defend the countless lies that these politicians have told, we MUST hold these people accountable! Please discuss. Thanks.

Filing a lawsuit would be pretty much a pointless action. The monetary repayment would come from an ethics investigation decision. if there was proof of ethics violations the guilty would then have to pay said fine. Which would have the effect of a volunteered stepping down or forced eviction. The key is to replace the people that are on the "money train" with people that don't want to be on the "money train". That means changes in both parties.

Could we file a lawsuit against the government for mis appropriations of funds and for lying to the country?

Impeachment would not be effective. Voting the members out in the 2012 and 2014 elections. Remember the true issue that drives the massive income disparity in this country is the infiltration of big money in the campaign process of our election process. Until we remove the corruption factor of big single source money that influences how the holder of public office will or will not support the issues and whether or not they are even discussed in the first place.

Read the Constitution.

Impeachment is initiated by the House of Representatives and must then be tried by the Senate. If approved by both houses, then the Senate can remove the office-holder (by a 2/3 vote).

Impeachment is not a vehicle for the public to remove or punish a representative.

The President swore an oath on the day he was inaugurated that he would uphold this country's laws, and act in the best interest of the nation, neither he nor the congress or senate have done this and that constitutes perjury if nothing else, and crimes against humanity for the destruction of our nation's integrity and for letting corporations rape our earth for resources against regulations to protect the earth.

Indeed...if a republican does shit, he gets no problems...if a democrat does shit, he hangs...unfair...!

My candidate was Al Gore...the rightful winner of the Elections!

Now I support the Republican Ron Lawl, the Democrat Lyndon LaRouche (even a progressive Tea Party member!) and Pat Buchanan...!
