Why are people trying so hard to organize OWS at protests but all we have on the internet is anarchy where dembots and libertarians dominate discussions. Someone please explain this.

  • the pros are here to fight the good fight. we hold our noses and support the dems. it could be worse and may be soon. i sometimes wonder if it must get worse before a criticall mass awakens.

  • the cons may well be paid bloggers. maybe karl rove hires them.

  • libertarians are the dupes of cons and even the fools of the con base get over on them.

Because they are confused what ows stands for. Have 1 big principal, a message,

such as

OWS = anti corruption.

What is corruption?

An anti-consumer movement can bring the economy to it's knees. Desperate times and all that....

[-] -2 points by Grimreaper2 (-318) 11 years ago

Because the online OWS is a deliberate distraction. Anarchists run this movement.

You're probably right. Anarchy is a lack of rules so when there are no rules for the 1% you wind up with anarchy everywhere.

[-] -2 points by Grimreaper2 (-318) 11 years ago

Anarchism isn't always about a lack of rules. I suggest a study of the Spanish Civil War. The anarchists there had plenty of rules.

[-] 1 points by stevebol (1269) from Milwaukee, WI 11 years ago

I know about different kinds of anarchists. The basic perception is a lack of rules.

The basic idea is a lack of hierarchy, not a lack of rules. You need a lot of rules to keep hierarchy from creeping into an anarchic setup.

OWS has no rules and it's still around. There's no hierarchy either. This is why i don't believe in ideology- real life is always different.

[-] 0 points by MikeMcKeel (-109) 11 years ago

OWS is full of rules to keep hierarchy at bay. They use general assemblies with direct democracy, refuse to elect leaders, etc...

[-] -2 points by Grimreaper2 (-318) 11 years ago

No. That is not the basic perception I. The real world. Nor is it the basic rule in history.

History is written by the winners. There's always another story-or two.

You argue with dembots all the time so what are you talking about? You must be a libertarian.

[-] -1 points by podman73 (-652) 11 years ago

I see my post flew over your head.
