Forum Post: I can't bring myself to vote this year

HR 347, NDAA, lip service to political reform that insults our intelligence, ACTA, almost SOPA (and they will sneak something like SOPA in eventually), meaningless financial reform meant to placate the public while still protecting the interests of their bankster patrons, etc. etc. I've just had enough of this shit, I'm not voting for any of these people.

I have an idea, set up nonprofits to produce our food, the goods we need, provide the services we like, and housing ... our income still gets taxed, but maybe we can set up a bunch of all inclusive Unitarian churches to manage our social welfare programs (they even allow atheists to join, at least in NYC, and the best part, religious donations are tax deductible) :)
