It's no secret they are looking for a reason to bust the doors and shut us down. So why give them a reason to do so? There is a better way which is more effective and speaks the language "they" understand. I've said it before and I say it again, the only way they are going to come down to a down to earth level is if we hit them in their pockets. We have the numbers, targeted boycotts is the way to go. It makes us, the little guys, have a real strong voice. We have to eliminate all ways they have to suppress us, even with the most honorable of all intentions, when we gather together like that , we are fair games to their tactics. I don't want to give too much as I know this forum is monitored, but we have to organize with a different mentality, and that is unity, real unity, and when it is set to boycott something, we all do it, only this way we are going to be effective. This method of protest is highly inclusive instead of exclusive, we can globally organize and do it all at once, since there is no need to travel or incur in any expenses, as a matter of fact, I mentioned in another post how this method of protest, instead of taking money out of your pockets, it makes sure money stays in your pockets. We target them one at a time, and you'll see how quickly they listen. Money is the blood of capitalism, want to control capitalism? control the blood flow. I apologize if someone else has already posted this article. http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/nypd-investigating-apparent-occupy-wall-st-protester-online-threat-article-1.1041830

Yes... A very visible type of protest would be at, say, Target locations worldwide on one pre-determined day. We have seen Occupy groups protest at major bank locations, and I think if there was a day of action that focused on one specific bank or problem company at a time, then we could get a good media showing.

Right now Occupy groups are doing a lot of separate, but related, activities on certain theme days. I would like to see the focus sharpen much like it has in the last few months to converge on protesting one specific entity at a time.

The result of the Rush Limpbow shows the power of the marginalized once we get together behind one issue. My beef right now is with Coca Cola, as you might already know. Sometimes it takes a drastic event in one's life for the wheels of participation to get rolling in a cause such as OWS, and even though I know that much more can be done, at least OWS is a first step on the right path towards freedom and justice. The Coke 16, as we are portrayed in the media now are spearheading this first attempt to bring the truth to the masses about the practices of Coke, we have already rejected settling with them, sometimes one needs to stand for truth and justice and the crap these people are doing, not only to their employees, but to their shareholders is downright criminal. And this has to be put out in the open. So, as far as my involvement, I'm determined to stand for justice and truth for the rest of my life. It's like Morpheus told Neo, take the red or the blue pill. I rather be awake. God bless.

Furthermore, I think the reason why there has not been an all out war against OWS is because of that very fact you mentioned, this being that groups are doing things independently, but once we are all in one mind and speak the same thing, there will be so much acceptance from the rest of the public, that you will see OWS members being hunted down like criminals. Keep that in mind. Being a real revolutionary means you are ready for this persecution, even if not physically, at least mentally. As the bible says, if this is all there is to life, then we are all most miserable. We have a chance to make real change, if not for us, at least for our kids, but that would take learning the real meaning of the word NO. I'm going to make a post about this on my website and share it with ows, hopefully, tomorrow, God willing. God bless.
