Forum Post: How much Earth depopulation will be required in order to be sustainable?

Posted 12 years ago on Feb. 27, 2012, 1:21 p.m. EST by incomeforall (64)
This content is user submitted and not an official statement

As we wind down energy availability and limit the numbers of those able to earn a living we come closer to our goal of depopulating Earth of unnecessary masses of people.

Is the interruption of food supplies still on track as the preferred method of a quick 75% die off? How will the distribution of the surviving 25% be structured? Is the concentration to be in developed countries as planned?

The closer we get to this reality the more concerned I become about controlling the outcome, that thirty days of the final starvation is going to be grim!

All for Mother Gaia!!

World food output outstrips requirements by a fair margin. Its poor supply chain management and hoarding by speculators which causes shortages and famines and such.

The current population can be comfortably supported by the planet, heck probably double might not be a problem. So long as per capita consumption remains the same or similar. If one actually does some research you will find that the developed nations populations tend to have higher consumption per capita and a lot of waste. Instead of 'depopulation' people need to practice the 3R's and all will be well...

As for depopulation, should some idiots decide that is has become 'necessary,' a nuclear war is too dirty and messy a way to do it. A pandemic would be the marginally less messy option, and not entirely far fetched either.

Also, if said idiots choose to practice eugenics, they would do well to remember that putting all your eggs in one genetic basket is not a good idea...

I agree with the nuclear war comment, but in terms of population growth. Its not just food. Its carbon emissions, industrial waste, species extinction, clear-cutting, mining efforts, and all the wonderful other things which are required to support 7 billion people.

I don't know how much time we actually have left before this planet finally chokes, but certainly its going to be a lot less with the addition of China as the worlds new wasteful consumer population.

1%, of course.

The earth needs 500 million to be sustainable so many Occupiers need to move on and get ready to Occupy hell.

According to The Georgia Guidestones ( http://www.crystalinks.com/gaguidestones.html ) the first law states :

Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.

That would translate into 12 of every 13 people must go in today's numbers.

I hear the 1% are really good w/ enough bar-b-q sauce

Prisons, I think, are the preferred method of the United States. Those imprisoned are slowly being killed and those not imprisoned are being fleeced in order to support the prison population. Biological warfare, economic warfare, and weather control will take care of the rest.

None.

This is a joke, right? Science and engineering are the answers to all of the world's problems. There is absolutely nothing that is outside the realm of the human mind and ingenuity. The other option would be a mass genocide and selective breeding to speed up the evolution of mankind

[-] 0 points by owsleader2014 (8) 12 years ago

The real problem in ameriKKKa today is the population problem.

First we failed as prison colony, then failed post industrial revolution, today we have outsourced our jobs.

Essentially the USA has 250Million too many unwanted people, you could send them all to war, or engineer a civil-war, ......

The second has been chosen.

As long as you are part of that die off.......

[-] 0 points by SteveKJR (-497) 12 years ago

Wait about 30 years - within that time there will be 75 million baby boomers retiring. Once they retire they will be dying off and will leave lots of room available for the next generation.

The problem with that is there is going to be a "surplus" in the United States and there will be less jobs because there will be less people buying things.

Got to wait it out and then everyone can be happy again.

get rid of the libtards and then we will be alright

The idea that the world is overpopulated is ridiculous. The problem, is that there are too many white people.

[-] 1 points by nobnot (529) from Kapaa, HI 12 years ago

You may have a point,But we organize better than everyone else.

Overpopulation is a crock of $hit. This is just more "indoctrination". Overpopulation has been debunked many times over. No need to be scared. Do your research before you repeat this kind of information psy-op by the elite control freaks..

[-] 0 points by B76RT (-357) 12 years ago

it's one world order crap.

[-] -1 points by JanitorInaDrum (134) 12 years ago

On this, we disagree.

Perhaps it wouldn't be by such a wide margin that we disagree IF we weren't hell bent to suck all the resources out of the planet and so very irresponsibly create carnage and detrimental waste.

However, the poster who implies that terra firma, HERE, could support twice as many is absolutely wrong, even at a lesser rate of per captia consumption.

It is no myth that food and water will be a problem, if nobody reproduces starting today, long before OIL becomes scarce.

let's start with you and your moron friends.

This is a GREAT IDEA. Depopulate. I suggest a huge number of abortion clinics in the poor areas. Free abortions. I think we would solve a LOT of problems. I'm with YOU incomeforall.

[-] 2 points by gestopomillyy (1695) 12 years ago

poor? white rich and middle class are the highest abortion rates do you really think it would be legal if mostly poor women wanted it?

[-] 1 points by FreeDiscussion5 (12) 12 years ago

If the plan which was noted in the post was to depopulate,,, and that was the LIBERAL PLAN,,, then,,,, I would GUESS you would pick poor women to kill since you can sleep at night after aborting little babies as they come out to take their first breath of air. Your the killers,,, not us. I'm just responding to the liberal agenda of killing things.

[-] 1 points by gestopomillyy (1695) 12 years ago

i see. my point was.. you would put the abortion clinics in the same neighborhood as starbucks not in the poor neighborhoods as it is those types using the service the most.

[-] 1 points by FreeDiscussion5 (12) 12 years ago

I didnt know the statistics on abortions in starbuck areas. Where can I find your stats on that?

[-] 1 points by incomeforall (64) 12 years ago

So true! Scratch an environmentalist and you'll find a Eugenicist! Good times eh?

[-] 0 points by DevilDog420 (133) from Saratoga Springs, NY 12 years ago

Overpopulation, and religion are the major driving forces are warfare in modern societies. The world can only support between 4-10 billion people, were at 7 now, feels like things are getting better or worse? Destruction can be staved off, possibly... Maybe He3 fusion reactors, settlement of northern Canada and Siberia, eating of less meat in general, undersea colonies lol practice for melting icecaps... If we can get past the next 100-200 years with out total annihilation, There's plenty of room and materials orbiting the sun in the asteroid belt for like 343 billion all together. 7x7x7 billion

[-] 1 points by DanielBarton (1345) 12 years ago

what about the fusion reactors?

I don't know.

Is that what Syria is researching?

Is that what the UN is sitting back to watch?
