At this stage he’s virtually a political unknown, even in Texas. In spite of his famous family no one knows anything about him. He’s got an uphill battle. Also, George Bush was a unpopular Texas governor. That will probably work against him.
Also, Visiting The Texas Ranger Hall of Fame is a really cool way to spend a day. Beats the hell out of boring art museums.
