A transplant surgeons avg salary is $250,000. So if the guy/girl makes $1000 per day and takes of 100 years a year, that $1000/$700,000 .. the room is LONG PAYED FOR, the additional staff could only cost an additional say $1000 for the day total. The heart? Well, your not allowed to receive any $$$ for your GOOD heart, no, thats against the law. So it must be the medications? What you say? They are generic and made in China for a pitance? Say it isn't so! Well then, it must be to sterilize the instruments? The entire autoclave only costs $1000 ?? Hmmmm, must be all that already paid for monitoring equipment? No? Hmmmm, maybe its just a big fucking scam like the rest of healthcare in America?
Yup, that about sums it up.
Medical tourism is the future. Medical insurance is the quiet corporation group that tries to go under the radar of public opinion.

Government health care will solve that problem! There won't be any more heart transplants (except for politicians). :)
