“Have you ever thought…what life would be like without a government?” -Rebel Inc - No Song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9BNSYFuK9M

The Government Unnecessarily Infringes Upon Our Rights & Civil Liberties & Oppresses Us/The People In Many Unjustified & Inhumane Ways, But As The World Stands -Dominated & Corrupted By Money, Capitalism & The Power Elites, There Is A HUGE Disastrous-Downside & Shortsightedness In Simply Advocating For No Government. Such A World (As It Currently Stands) Without A Government Would Still Be Ruled By Capitalism, Social Darwinism & The Power Elites. Such A World Without A Government Would Still Be Ruled By MONEY. ZERO TAXES Means That Poor People May Not Have To Pay A 15cent Tax On A Candy Bar Anymore, But It ALSO Means That Greedy, Filthy-Rich BILLIONAIRES Would Not Have To Pay Any Taxes At ALL On ANYTHING Either. No More TRILLIONS of Dollars Spent On Unnecessary Wars & Imperialism, But Also No More Dollars Spent Anymore On The Social Safety-Net/Essential Social Programs That Benefit The Poor & The Needy / Essential Programs That Without Would Cause Millions of People To Starve To Death, Etc., Which Is Basically What The Power Elites Want Anyway; No Rules, No Regulations (To Hold Them Back) In A Cruel, Unjust & Inhumane World, Everyone For Themselves Only, Fuck Poor People, Let Rich People Dominate & Abuse Everyone The Way They See Fit…

…But It Doesn’t Have To Be This Way…Another World IS Possible…Another World Based Upon The Needs & Happiness of ALL Humanity…A Humane World Based Upon Sustainability & Enlightened Progress…Only Then Would A World Without A Government Be Even Feasible Or Desirable…Only In A Fair & Humane, Sustainable World Would A Government Become Obsolete…

But To Get From Here To There Will Require A Revolution of Priorities & Values & A Massive Shift of Power From The Hands of The Few (The Wealthy Elites) Into The Hands of Everyone -THE PEOPLE -Direct Democracy!

OWS's goal should be to create a fully democratic society: A society with a democratic government AND A DEMOCRATIC ECONOMY http://occupywallst.org/forum/ows-goal-should-be-to-replace-capitalism-with-demo/

The Problem Is Not That A-Real-People-Powered-Democracy Is Bad, The Problem Is That A-Real-People-Powered-Democracy DOES NOT YET EXIST. http://occupywallst.org/forum/america-is-not-a-democracy-and-it-never-was-a-demo/#comment-907183

"Gil Scott-Heron : "Work For Peace" {Video} :

"If everyone believed in Peace the way they say they do,

We'd have Peace.

The only thing wrong with Peace,

Is that you can't make no money from it!

Nobody can do everything,

But everybody can do something,

Everyone must play a part,

Everyone got to go to work, Work for Peace.

Spirit Say Work, Work for Peace

If you believe the things you say, go to work.

If you believe in Peace, time to go to work.

Cant be waving your head no more, go to work. "

"Between individuals, as between nations, peace means respect for the rights of others." - Benito Juarez, Zapoteca (1806-1872). Thanx 4 yr GR8 Post :-)

this is nonsense. OWS demonstrated the failure of rule by consensus. They demonstrated the failure of any form of revolution that does not engage the political structure.

We have no choice.

We must lay our grievance, in specific detail, before the people of this nation. We must demonstrate how it is we find our current system no longer has authority to rule, and to do that we must demonstrate how it is this current system is systematically engaged in usurping the authority and the natural rights accorded to each and every citizen of these United States.

Refusal to do so, and dissuading others from the attempt, is either a product of complete ignorance of our current state, or it is cowardice, or it is a deliberate attempt to castrate this movement and render it impotent.

What exactly are you refering to as "nonsense"? The Movement Succeeded in exposing Wealth Inequality, The Evils of Capitalism & The Corrupt 2-Party Dictatorship of our Fake-Charade-of-a-“democracy”/Corporatocracy. Are you against Real Democracy? -and a Fully Democratic society? What do you mean "We have no choice."?

Did I not write in English? Perhaps you would care to review, and rephrase your question.

Perhaps you could at least attempt to answer the questions and we could begin a rational dialogue? Or not.

What questions?

Surely this must be clear: We are a nation of laws. Ultimately the purpose of these laws is to ensure the rights of the people, that their lives, their liberty, their pursuit of happiness, not be impinged.

But these rights have been impinged. Repeatedly, consistently, and over the course of an extended period of time. This has been done in large measure by the corporate influence over our system of governance.

There was no need to expose wealth inequality - wealth inequality in the wake of the economic collapse was plainly evident. Articulation of the finer points of wealth inequality, many of which may have passed unnoticed by the broader public, is not a bad thing, but to dwell upon the minutia is a distraction.

The movement was confronted by a variety of distractions. Not least of which was the dogmatic insistence that we must build communities, for communities already exist. We live among them. These communities are already ours, and therefore there is nothing to build. It already exists.

That we must not make demands was a fallacious and self destructive principle incorporated at the outset.

We must make it clear that we demand Freedom, we demand Justice, we must follow that clear path that gave birth to this nation, and not be distracted by the fact that this nation at its birth did not live up to the promise that Contract put forth, and we must persevere to produce a nation with a set of laws that does.

Wallstreet!

Why do they always leave Wallstreet out of the equation?

As though they are as invisible and innocent as the "invisible hand" .

Which of course doesn't exist, except as an excuse for WallStreet behavior.

When everyone knows all there is about needs, and will not place wants over them, then we can go without gov.

I have only ever had but one goal in life and that is to "Rule the World."
