“I celebrated Thanksgiving in an old-fashioned way. I invited everyone in my neighborhood to my house, we had an enormous feast, and then I killed them and took their land.” –Jon Stewart

In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit. -- Albert Schweitzer

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow. -- Melody Beattie

At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us. -- Albert Schweitzer

The parade has turned into something horrible. You don't get to see the parade at all. You only get to see NBC promoting itself and some shows they want you to see. What happened to the parade...is it still going on. If so, we can't see it. I'll never shop at Macy's again until they put the people first again. It has turned into Ann, Matt and Al. I can see them everyday if I want to. They are ruining the parade for everyone in tv land. I will boycott NBC and Macy's if this doesn't stop. Bring the parade back. Go ahead occupy movement. I support you.
