Thanks for posting this. I watched his population growth vid too and it is very sobering. There is a connection to OWS in that it becomes clear that gross 'inequality' is the enemy of us all. A point also made abundantly clear in Zeitgeist:Moving Forward, a film that climaxed with the global protest a la OWS. Another world is possible and clearly desirable.

you completely took away the wrong message lol!!! we are all making tremendous progress except for the really oppressive countries. I guess you are just a really negative person.

The vid you posted was about tremendous progress. I was referring to his projections in the population vid. Not so shiny happy unless we focus on the very poor 2 billion. You guess wrong, go fuck yourself.

Why do "we" need to focus on the 2 billion poor? why is it not the responsibility of those countries leaders? or the rest of the world? We give more aid than any other country already . Merry Christmas

one of my favorites. Seriously empowering. His horse-race type narrations of the data over time is classic. never gets old.
