Forum Post: Glass-Steagall Resolutions in 10 of 50 States

With its Feb. 28 introduction in Alabama and that of March 1 in the State of Washington, Glass-Steagall memorialization resolutions have now been introduced in 10 of the 50 states, of which one, South Dakota, has passed it.

Both the Alabama and Washington State resolutions specifically embrace H.R. 129.

In Alabama, Rep. Tom Jackson introduced H.J.R. 121 on Feb. 28 with 18 co-sponsors, two of them Republicans. See official filing here:

In Washington State, Senators Bob Hasegawa and Marilyn Chase introduced Senate Joint Memorial 8009 on March 1 with two co-sponsors. See official filing here:
