In reviewing some of the posts in order to gain a better understanding about the movement which intrigues me so much, I came across a poster named Rico in which I personally feel encaspulates the overall message that needs to be publically displayed by OWS. There are so many political viewpoints being portrayed that are going to sink this ship before it sails. Everyone needs to take a step back and find a common ground (getting $ out of politics) which we all agree with. Then, a constitutional convention needs to be formed to enable this change. In this time, true leaders with no party affiliations need to step up to make the changes necessary for it to succeed. Some change ideas may involve limiting terms and developing a regulating body to monitor success/failure/and control campaign funds, exploding the 2 party system which makes people pick sides (black or white when we live in a gray world), and removing the ability for corporations/entities to have any political influence. This will have to be done, and if it works then your other opinions can be addressed when being handled by true representatives of your state with no ulterior motives.

The founding fathers of our great nation were revolutionaries, but the enemy was across the Atlantic. This is a touchy situation...If OWS does not unify with a common goal, it will do nothing more than weaken a country already on the brink of disaster. Please keep up the fight, but realize that we should be fighting to change a broken process...not eachother and what we stand for. If OWS can do this, my support can be fully counted on. Colin Powell once said that "there is no secret to success: It comes from hard work, preparedness, and the ability to learn from our mistakes" Right now OWS is working hard, but we all need to prepare so that our country can learn from it's mistakes and be successful. We owe it to ourselves and our children. The greatest part of being American is having the freedom to feel the way we want to and actually have an opinion...We need folks in office that will take those opinions seriously.

Sincerely,

Husband, Father, Banker, Voter, Democrat, Republican, Independent, Concerned, Optimistic, Rich, Poor, Educated, Uneducated, Free and Proud Citizen of both The United States of America and it's citizens.
