What will be the left's reaction to an all Republican government? What can be done in an atmosphere of global austerity? Will fiscal responsibility mean the end of entitlements?

The headline is very misleading. The article says "If President Obama carries only those states where he had a net positive approval rating in 2011 . . . Obama would lose the 2012 election to the Republican nominee 323 electoral votes to 215."

It is highly unlikely the votes will actually go that way. Unfortunately, most people, from both major parties, continue to vote along party lines despite their dissatisfaction with the candidate.

I predict an upset with a 3rd party candidate winning. Most likely Rocky Anderson.
