I would love to see this. Hopefully they have systems in place to get the information from those who support it while they are out, for future promos and volunteering. In many cases, this is just as important as the promo itself.
On a side note: Friend got a credit collection agency letter, representing Circuit City. Love how these huge businesses can file bankruptcy, dodge all sorts of shit, but sell debt due to them to someone else still.
It will be lots of fun! And yes, we'll have lots of information to be disseminated. The point is to raise awareness about "dependence corruption," as Lessig coined it, and the ever-increasing corruption of our democracy due to lobbyists and special interests. Ultimately we have to educate people and convince them to sign on to the American Anti-Corruption Act (http://anticorruptionact.org/) for the 2014 elections. We can only do so much through protests; at some point we have to change the laws.
We'll have some fun surprises in store too. If you're interested please sign up so we can have a costume ready for you. Oh yeah, we need money! Imagine a news helicopter shot of Capitol police forming a line to keep out hundreds (or hopefully thousands) of human $100 bills. It will be priceless.
