  1. Term Limits for all elected government officials to 8 years. Reduce senate terms to 4 years, increase rep terms to 4 years. Elect 1/2 of senators on presidential years and other 1/2 on mid term years. Elect 1/2 of reps on odd year after presidential election, 1/2 of reps on odd year after mid-term election.
  2. Reduction of annual political contributions maximum to $100 per person/entity -- i.e., no person or business entity shall contribute more than $100 per election year to any candidate(s). This means that I could contribute $10 to 10 candidates, $1 to 100 candidates or $100 to one candidate, but my total political contributions for the year would be capped at $100. This limit shall apply to all subsidiaries or wholy owned companies by a parent company (in plain English this means if a company has 100 subsidiaries all 101 companies would only be able to contribute a total of $100 amongst them during the calendar year; stated differently each company would not get to spend $100).
  3. No campaign for federal office shall spend more than $10,000 per election year for it's campaign. Only a candidate's opponent shall be allowed to run a television, radio or print ad against his/her opponent, Such advertisements shall fall within the total $10,000 annual campaign spending limits. Any violation of this lmit shall result in immediate disqualification of the canddiate to run for office in that election cycle or for any future federal office.
  4. No company shall exist or be formed to lobby members of congress for any matter whatsoever. The government is for the PEOPLE and only inidividual people shall be able to contact Congress. Businesses shall have no voice, they are not people, the 1st amendment does not apply to businesses. It is time to end the fallacy that they are people.

Once we fix the political process, as outlined above, we can then get Congress to act on OUR behalf and not corporations' behalf.
