I though this was very interesting. The critical passage in my mind was this from Carter: There's no leadership, no coherence, and no single list of goals."

We have been amazingly successful considering that caviott, but I think the critisism should speak to us clearly about where our weakness still lies. The funny thing is, I think a lot of people think we're just going to get bored and go away - stop refining and improving ourselves. I think they are wrong.

You said: "The funny thing is, I think a lot of people think we're just going to get bored and go away - stop refining and improving ourselves. I think they are wrong." I completely agree. They're definitely wrong. The movement will grow exponentially this summer with 3 to 4 large actiins and dozens of smaller (but just as important) ones. Poeple are dug in for the long haul on this. We're not going. We more growing!!!"

Look, even Pew Polling, an establishment pollster, says Americans agree with our goals by something like 48% to 36%. Now all we need to do is find a way to connect. That is not beyond our capabilities, it's just not.

You have hit the nail on the head.

get ready to throw bricks at this infadel-
"Now all we need to do is find a way to connect"
simple-

do what the civil righs movement did to win
do what the Poland movement did to win
do what the South Africa movement did to win
do what the NRA movement did to win

CREATE A LEADERSHIP SYSTEM!
Yeah - I know - I'll duck
Please recognize -
our DEMOCRACY did not fail because of the nature of our leaders and our democracy.
If failed because crapitalism and greed bought it
AND WE LET IT HAPPEN

just because your dog becomes rabid -
does not dictate that you must hate all dogs

That is a great way of putting it! "our DEMOCRACY did not fail because of the nature of our leaders and our democracy. If failed because crapitalism and greed bought it AND WE LET IT HAPPEN just because your dog becomes rabid - does not dictate that you must hate all dogs."

True. You just need to put down the rabid dog (s). Rabies is highly contagious through contact.

In this case we can do so nonviolently fortunately. The analogy breaks down here because in this case we're loving the 1% enough to set them right.... So eventually our slogan is the 100%

Yes.
