What the organizers of these protest need is an attorney who will file an Article 78 Petition in New York Supreme Court against the City of New York requiring them to place portable bathrooms, clean water and basic sanitation at the protest sites. I am an attorney and IMO the City is on notice and they have a legal obligation to comply with the New York Public Health Law Section 225 subpart 7-.4 pertaining to "Mass Gathering." I have been trying to get in touch with the organizers of this page for days and get no response.

Organizers should be aware that the police department -could- use this issue as an excuse to close down #OWS at Liberty Square. Better get this problem solved soon!
