Iv seen kids with ADHD. Not overly diagnosed ADHD. Those kids are in pure he'll you can see it. I think there are a lot of people who are diagnosed that don't have it. But many who do have it are not diagnosed. I seen a child tear his skin on his arm trying to sit and listen in class. I luv that kid but he was miserable. The drugs made him sad and unresponsive. I hope that there are more advances made to handle this disease. Keep fighting guys.

There's a simple cure for 90% of ADD/ADHD: get rid of your TV!

Hello again sudoname! I fully agree TV is an evil, but you make false assumptions about the nature of ADD. We have a very good neuro-chemical understanding of it and saying fixing it in adults is simply a matter of turning of the TV and some good old discipline, is simply not true . We know it has a very strong genetic component. The good news is that we also have very effective pills to take care of the chemical component so people can fix the behavioral side.

Why does it seem like there is much more of it nowadays? Many reasons. Part of it is indeed things like tv that aid it's development in kids. Partly it's because things like juggling school and work is exactly the sort of thing people with ADD completely suck at. Part of it is that the science is fairly recent. And yes, part of it is over-diagnosing and victimization.

... I swear I'm going back to topology problems now!
