Forum Post: Fast and Furious Subpoena Instanter sans Duces Tecum for Eric Holder

Wassup with having Eric Holder subpoenaed to testify before Congress, although no oath was sworn prior and watching all those Congresspersons preponder upon him very carefully prepared and probing questions of which he artfully and cunningly, spoke his way out of answering a simple, yes or no? DC-speak, not at it's finest, but, a decent effort none-the-less.

It would seem no Duces Tecum was served, as he failed to have any categorical or numerical specifics to a HUGE number of these questions. No copies of correspondence requested, even those requested MONTHS ago, no dates of specific events, even as related to his own actions, NO NOTHING! Just, I'll see if I can get that to you. BLEH!

It amazes me when such a hearing comes to the point where multiple congressmen are accusing him of Federal Felonies (none of them wouldn't happen to be guilty of any, now would they), requesting his resignation, threatening IMPEACHMENT, and flat out perjury, the chess game timer should be thrown out the window and the crux of the matter gotten to RIGHT NOW! No further inquires on any other matters, PERIOD. No stopping until a turning point of equitable remedy has rationally and openly been reached!

Are our representatives, most of which on that committee have legal degrees, too inept to subpoena Eric Holder demanding he show up in possession of all supporting documents, operating under a failed system where the person giving testimony can refuse to take an oath, just too damned civilized for their own good as it sure seemed to me that just when one rep was poised to gut him and send him to the gallows, "the gentleman's time has expired" prevailed with all the resulting ultra-civilized pleasantries never witnessed in the UK's house of commons.

This happened repeatedly after Holder consumed two and a half minutes plus, pretty talking his way around answering a direct question of which, any reasonable judge would order the deposed to produce either a "yes" or "no".

Truly, it was a ridiculous spectacle to behold! A complete mockery of justice and a stonewalled inquiry which wasted who knows how many taxpayer dollars? Lots of police chiefs were flown in just to sit behind Holder ahead of the bar. Most interesting, I bet many will take a detour to someplace sunny and warm as part of the DC hand-job experience.

I'll tell ya, there was lots of blatant lying taking place. Wow!
