This content is user submitted and not an official statement

Apparently it will create a thousand multi-millionaires overnight, alternatively, how about $50 to every user for all their personal information.

So when does "Occupy Facebook" begin?

Facebook is already occupied by millions of users. If you aren't happy with their service, then you should de-occupy Facebook by deleting your account.

There's no secret. Everyone understands how Facebook works. They provide a free service so that you can socialize with your friends and family over the Internet, and, in exchange, you provide them with the information you post on their site. They can sell this information to make money, and provide a way for advertisers to target their ads.

Nobody is forced to use Facebook and enter into a deal with them. And, those who do are not forced to publish personal information. People can decide what they post. It's democratic. There's no reason to complain about Facebook. Either you use their service and accept what that entails and take responsibility for what you post, or you refrain from using their service.
