Decent article speaking of lost faith and how it relates to the ability to lead.

And yes, it does make it tougher to lead. And that is when new leadership is suppose to arise, and get us a fresh start. This past election was a dismal failure. No major shakeup whatsoever.
If the public loses faith in the leadership, but doesnt have the will to change it, I cannot see that turning out good for anyone.
Somehow (regardless of the "dismal failure" of our election) many progressive groups are growing, and fighting harder than ever. I submit OWS has shown the way. Occupy has made it ok to challenge corp oligarchs. As we have preached, we support more horizontal leading and I think that is what we are seeing. The people are leading and we will force change that improves the lives of the 99%. Forcing change even from corrupt insiders until we create a new system.
