I think we should start an Economic Hunger Strike. We should not buy anything unnecessary until our demands are met. That means no sales tax revenue!

I'm down with that but Starbucks and Ben and Jerry's are off limits....they support the movement....also it doesnt have to be clear.....do you guys know the government is already starting to move? They already know what is unfair, they just need continued pushing to fix it all

That presumes we have a clear set of demands, which we don't.

We still protest without a clear set of demands. Is there a difference?

My personal demands would be 50% income tax on the rich, cut NASA's budget and tax churches.

Yes, we can still protest without a clear set of demands. But we can't hold a strike until our demands are met if we don't have a clear set of demands; that would just mean holding a strike indefinitely. And an indefinite strike is not really a strike; it's a way of life.

These are usually a game of chicken.

Against a solid steel gate.

I know they have the money to hold out longer and not making money would give them an excuse to cut jobs, but it would send a message to Washington.

Exactly. Boycotts. Hit them in their pocketbook/bottom line. It's the quickest way to get their attention. I've already begun.
