Paul Watson was an incompetent media whore, but he did have balls.
I think you need people like that to set the tone. They get the media's attention, and the push the envelope of just what it takes. Besides, imagine if all the activists had balls like that, right? :)
Sierra Club recently broke with tradition with some of their actions on the pipeline. I support that 100%.
He did some really fucking stupid stuff through that could of easily gotten his crew killed though, but he was doing the right thing fighting back against the Japanese since no one else would.
