Forum Post: Don't Let Yourself Fall Under The Evil Spell

Humanity has come to a point of Crisis. Everywhere we see the forces of negation, of those who tell us that we cannot have a better world; the voices that promote cynisism, that separate and divide us by class, by religion, by race, by political affiliation. I would reach out to you with one voice, one voice that see's us all in this together. The problems that confront us know no class boundries, know no racial divides. Those who think they can separate themselves through wealth from the common fate of mankind are delluding themselves. The calamity of environmental collapse, of antibiotic resistant bacteria, of global climate change, of polluted and decreasing ground water, of the collapse of the ocean's bio-systems and on and on, are not limited to the lower classes. Whether we like it or not we are all in this together. This is an appeal to the upper-classes who believe they can separate themselves from the common fate of mankind. I would reffer you to a very short story, by Edgar Allen Poe, "The Masque of the Red Death."
