I'm going to give credit here....There was mention of negative effect from my comments, mostly disputing the contentions made by many poster's here...but, I appear, so far, to remain an active participant...for that, I am respectful of the willingness to allow opposition of viewpoints on this site...

the people that are here, attempting to bring ows down, will say no. and that is how you can tell who supports ows and its mission and who doesn't.

please supply a motive for why you are here?

Your free to express any opinion you wish, so long as it originated by OWS consensus.

So, do they take a vote on what a person posts?

[-] -1 points by SteveKJR (-497) 12 years ago

No, because every time a comment is made that someone doesn't like they get kicked off. It doesn't have to be a curse word or foul mouth word.

Just somtething that someone disagrees with.

There is no free speech here. I have never cursed, called names or belittled anyone's post, yet everytime I post an idea such as " why not protest Obama's fundraisers tonight" or why not protest Fannie mae and freddie Mac's corp offices, I get deleted or cursed at. It is sad when the mods here alienate everyone who isn't on the street , yet has an idea or a thought for this movement.

The true 99% are just as angry over many of the issues, but when you attempt to take away our voices, we just chalk it up to " same ole same ole".

If change is to happen the OWS folks are going to need us and our voices and right now all I'm hearing and seeing is censorship.

I've noticed this as well.

Kingscorsssection, please note next to your 'name' there is 1 points, I just voted your reply up, the next person may vote it down, X number down votes will 'hide' your reply, X number down votes will remove your reply.

I believe the number of down votes to 'hide' a reply is 4, but don't quote me on that... I have no idea how many down votes it takes to remove a posting or reply.

If you note under your reply there are four words, like with an up arrow, dislike with a down arrow, reply which obviously you know how to use and of course pemalink. I'm not sure but I think you may be able to 'like' your own replies thus canceling out at least one dislike.

I've seen confrontational replies remain and non-confrontational ones 'hidden', it's the 'public's' choice.

Kingscrosssection, I didn't mean to point you out as unknowing, simply chose your most recent reply in this thread as a demonstration point for those questioning the method on this fourm.

Thank you for your patience.

You are very welcome, I apologize that what information I was able to give was not complete.

Not a large problem, as far as I know it is 4 down votes
