Forum Post: Do the same company's that own the major media outlets also own the social media/internet company's?

It seems pretty obvious that social media and web-based video platforms (youtube) will soon become the next major media outlets. Apple will soon unveil Apple-TV, making the experience even more seamless. It might not catch on immediately but eventually it will.
If the current oligarchy also owns these web-based video platforms, the 99% will continue to be overwhelmed and completely influenced (brainwashed) for an even longer period of time.
Does anyone know owns these web based platforms ?

The large companies on the internet, including the big media companies, supporting each other and themselves through marketing and spamming, already get most of the internet page views presently.

Good question. They are making in-roads to PBS. Just tune in, they play commercials now.
Yep, I saw a pbs interview and it appeared they had a slanted view...oh, it was with regards to the college industry. They stated that pharma industry was short on workers so that college could push the pharma studies...it was never the case. here is the link. i think the producers hve their own agenda but there are some good points nonetheless -

idk, trying to get some of our own media going but i get met with a stupid level of resistance. so far it's the corporate media or lunatic riddled forums.

yeah, my bad. it's not on television is it. but we do land on page one of many keyword results, ahead of huffington post even.
money wants free peach silenced. They will do what they can to do this, in full sun with everyone watching, and encouraging them, using something just short of magic to convince you like in 9/11 to FOCUS YOUR COLLECTIVE HATE on a group or individual. How sad, control thru mob hate. and if mammon is allowed to read these boards and record everything written will it affect your chance to get a good job or turms on a loan? Letting mammon know your feelings will cost you stuff (something that has no value) one day soon, (feel the fear?). When it comes with its reaper for your soul it will be too late. Pay up your portion of the national debt or go to FEMA camp to work to pay your debt. You only owe 110,000.00 so it won't take long. Debtors jail will rise again. Freedom alone can not hold such a power down. It takes a strong religion that is based in rights for the individual not the group.

To an extent becuase the government is tied in with the corporations. More or less I am looking for the trail that leads upwards...nbc, abc, cbs...general electric...

they ARE collecting them. I will be punished some day soon for what i write. I try to speak the truth for those that need to hear it. Hoping they will know the truth and spread it when i am taken to a FEMA camp to be worked to death to pay my portion of the national debt.
