Forum Post: Distinction Forgotten By Most

OWS is not a movement aimed at personalities. It is not against rich people, managers, or CEOs. We have nothing personal against anyone. In fact we believe that most rich people might be high minded. Of course no less or no more than anybody else. Nevertheless we are adamantly opposed to the system/structure of financial greed, speculation, and the growing unsustainable gap between rich and poor. This is not aimed personally against the rich or the bankers. This is anger aimed at the system of financial/corporate hegemony. Hegemony that is increasingly threatening our democracy and the well being of the world.
