Forum Post: Corporate Democracy Index

Hi all - I'm traveling to NYC this week from Santa Barbara - I'm in graduate school there in the field of Global studies and have been involved in occupy sb, occupy ucsb and other local occupations.

Right now I am currently helping with a project on corporate democracy. Basically the project would index corporations based on their internal democratic practices (transparency, how they choose their board of directors, employee treatment, etc) and external (how much money they give to campaigns for one) Funding is in the works and the project should get off the ground after the new year.

I'll be in the city tonight thru Friday and it would be great to meet up with some folks who might be interesting in helping out with the project or just to hear what some perspectives are on it. Let me know if anyone is interested.
