Forum Post: Common Ground? Anyone?

I am a fiscally conservative member of the middle class. I have been working hard and playing by the rules. I have no debt, other than a house that is mostly paid off, and have been diligently attempting to invest for retirement.

I have lived and suffered through both the tech and the housing bubbles. I have problems with the excesses of Wall Street, the Federal Reserve and the Federal Government. I would like to see something done that would prevent these kinds of disastrous bubble/bust cycles that hurt millions of hard working families.

So I ask, is there any common ground that we can all rally behind, or should those of us that lean right just give up and let you guys try on your own to accomplish something useful?

I believe we should find common ground because this movement is more than the college students you are seeing on the news. I am a hard working mother of two running two businesses with my husband and the corruption is affecting us all, no matter what party affiliation. I say hang in there. Although I lean left, a lot of my friends do not!! What matters is we are all in the human family.

So far, the common ground I have found is campaign finance reform, term limits and some have brought up limiting the power of the federal government and empowering the states and local governments to take more power.

Many more people will come to your side when you are proactive (for “new” Business & Government solutions), instead of reactive (against “old” Business & Government solutions), which is why what we most immediately need is a comprehensive “new” strategy that implements all our various demands at the same time, and although I'm all in favor of taking down today's ineffective and inefficient Top 10% Management System of Business & Government, there's only one way to do it – by fighting bankers as bankers ourselves. Consequently, I have posted a 1-page Summary of the Strategic Legal Policies, Organizational Operating Structures, and Tactical Investment Procedures necessary to do so at:

if you want to be 1 of 100,000 “support clicks” needed at AmericansElect.org to support a Presidential Candidate – such as anyone you'd like to draft – in support of the above bank-focused platform.

Most importantly, remember that any candidate, regardless of party, is a straw man, a puppet; it's the STRATEGY (the sequence of steps) that people organize themselves behind, in military internet formation, that's important. Therefore, please read and think critically about the 1st link and join the 2nd link and you'll see and feel exactly what I mean.

Elections can be won on ideology. Look at Ronald Reagan. His message was clear less goverment, reduced taxes and American Exceptionalisim. This is a great nation with vast resources. We need to carfully dimantle the federal regulations which stifle bussiness growth, reduce corperate taxes. This alone will bring jobs back to America.

absolutely... 1) let's cut the influence of $$ and non citizen entities from their undue influence on our political process. ONE CITIZEN, ONE DONATION.. no PACS, no bundling, no union money, no contributions that don't come from a person. and there should be a limit on how much can be contributed during any federal or state election cycle. 2) PASS a media law similar to Canada's that doesn't allow MSM to lie, skew the facts or not remain neutral. if we can return our gov't to the people, for the people and by the people... for 200 years we were able to chart a reasonable course... that is impossible now with our gov't being the best money can buy. Let's remove that impediment to honest debate... THAT'S how we return sanity to our country

No more foreign conflicts. Total withdrawal from all the military bases around the world. That way we can save alot of money.

Every 'fiscal conservative' 'right leaning' person I have ever met has lacked a basic curiosity about any other ideas. It is as if, as I once did when I realized my family was republican, you are afraid to step out and learn about any other way things could be. Right leaning fiscal conservative is the safest possible ideology you can claim in the united states right now and over the last 30 years. If someone asks, no matter who they are in the political system, you get a certain amount of respect.

But you voted for Republicans and since 1980 they haven't done a single fiscally conservative thing while they are in power. And they don't lean right, they govern hard right. They take away freedoms and let the private tyrannies of business set the agenda at the expense of the powerless, generally preying upon them.

So we want you with us but we're asking you to wake up and really try to understand the theory behind Anarchy, Northern European Socialism, Parliamentary Constitutions, Participatory Economics and much more.

Because it sounds like you are asking us for something that we can put up on Fox's Brainwashing network that will just fit right in there so you can feel safe that you aren't angering powerful people.

And that is just not going to happen. You're either with the bankers or you're with us.

I know your ideology better than you do, because I once really believed it and lived it and read U.S. News and World Lies for years and years, I know that in actuality these following primary demands are not radical by any means.

Jefferson warned about the government being taken by the Bankers, and although it's always generally been this way, we are done living our lives under their insane shadow.

Are you?
