Of course Obama is very generous to his contributors in return.

Such as when he gave the terrorist "Blackwater" mercenary firm a quarter of a billion dollars:

Thank you for pointing this out.
Blackwater/Xe is one of the "blackest" marks on American history.
Along with Haliburton and other war profiters

I do not worship Obama -
I do like some of the things he has done - and some I dont.
But pinning this directly on him may be a stretch-
.................from your 2010 link
Panetta: "I have to tell you that in the war zone, we continue to have needs for security. You've got a lot of forward bases. We've got a lot of attacks on some of these bases. We've got to have security. Unfortunately, there are a few companies that provide that kind of security," Panetta told Jake Tapper. "So we bid out some of those contracts. [Blackwater] provided a bid that underbid everyone else by about $26 million. And a panel that we had said that they can do the job, that they have shaped up their act. So there really was not much choice but to accept that contract." While Tapper specifically asked Panetta about Blackwater's work in Afghanistan, the CIA contract is not limited to Afghanistan--it is a global contract.

I am not saying Obama is always right - what I am is saying is the Rs are the liars and the hypocrites we don't need in Washington

Pinning it anywhere else but directly on him is a stretch.

You don't think he's aware of this?

You don't think he's taking Stuart Eizenstat's phone calls?

You don't think it's his signature on the budgets?

"I do like some of the things he has done - and some I dont."

I'm not a huge fan of the whole committing-mass-murder-of-children with creepy-flying-robots bit myself...

I am not the word's expert on American law, but I suspect that a government contract MUST be awarded to the lowest bidder. True - Blackwater/Xe is scum - but unless we can LEGALLY get rid of them, we can't.
I suppose you'd want to pin the lack of investigations of American war crimes by bush-cheny-rumsfeld-etc-etc-etc on Obama.
I would.

Military contracts have always been unfair and totally fucked-up. The inventor of the jeep had it taken away and awarded to another because his operation was not big enough ( WWII defense contract bidding and awarding ). There was a special put out on this. It's been awhile since I saw it or I would provide more detail.

The original jeep was intended to use off-the-shelf components, so calling Probst the "inventor" isn't quite true. Although he did design it, it was under a government contract so, as you know, the government actually owned it from day one. The Bantam company was, besides being bankrupt at the time, also too small to deliver the necessary numbers in the impossibly tight deadline so the feds contracted it to Willys and Ford. I just wanted to clarify that, because your wording makes it sounds like the feds took it away from it's inventor.

Not only does Obama have to prerogative not to hire them (and not to illegally occupy foreign lands), when you consider the fact that Blackwater is an international terrorist organization, the UN charter actually requires that he not give them a quarter billion dollars and send them to engage in acts of war against another sovereign nation.

"I suppose you'd want to pin the lack of investigations of American war crimes by bush-cheny-rumsfeld-etc-etc-etc on Obama."

Actually I kind of understand that one. If we applied the same standards of international law (such as, for example, the Nuremberg codes) we held others to, both Obama and Bush would have to be executed for war-crimes.

Obviously, Obama has an interest not to pursue that course.

I think we should compare Ann's hair and Michelle's hair
That does relate to the posted topic - right?
So you hate Obama - so what

So why are you shilling for Wall Street's highest paid puppet on the website of a movement devoted to protesting Wall Street puppets?

What kind of response were you looking for?

You want us to support that criminal?

Maybe his Department of Homeland Security shouldn't have coordinating a mass crackdown of police brutality to destroy our tent communities last fall.

Really what do you expect from us?

Presidents know they can be generous, a pittance compared to the money they can make later. I think Willard paid $3.5 million in taxes in 2011, and he practically funds the Mormon church, but don't know the numbers. Obama? $172,000 in taxes, another $170k or so in charity. Hmmm. Hmmmm. Let's see, my long division is a little rusty, but cancell out the zeroes, carry your one.......Ok, got it. My man Willard wins by a 10:1 ratio.

As Jesus said, "It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to enter heaven"

Who would Jesus say is a better human being -
more likely to get into heaven - Man A with 10 apples who gives away 9
Man B with 1000 apples who gives away 500

Are you one of willard's "brothers" who makes more than $1,000,000 and are wishing for his millionaire's tax cut that will make you more than $100,000 richer?
