Ahh, the life of a libe(R)topian.

http://money.cnn.com/2014/02/11/news/companies/barclays-jobs/index.html?hpt=hp_t2

Plus they get to blame in on the "market".

What is really interesting is that CNN is selling - one of the most powerful guns you can buy - on their CNN money section, the M107A1, a 50 caliber rifle suitable for both the civilian and the military market. This is a semi automatic weapon, which at $15,000, comes with a suppressor, and has an effective range of around 1500 yards.

It is quite suited to killing V8 engines whether in jeeps or Mercedes Benz.

  • Perhaps CNN is attempting to quietly suggest a campaign of violence and retribution against individuals like those at Barclays - criminals who have and who will continue to wreak havoc on the global economy without shame or remorse.

There is an ad for the M107A1 right next to the Barclays article.

As the ad says, this is a weapon which requires the buyer to have disposable income simply because of its price. This means there is little chance it would be used against individuals like those at Barclays by the average Joker, thus there is no chance that any connection would ever be made between anyone of humble origins following such a . . .

  • line of advertising . . .

Perhaps I should go into the ad business myself . . .

.

. . . ahhh, the JOKER . . .

That was an ad, targeted at you. Strangely enough, I don't have any on the page.

[-] -1 points by ZenDog (13506) from South Burlington, VT 5 months ago

No way!

Likely it's my fault - I likely miscommunicated on this particular example.

It's not an ad so much, as a menu item in their Hot List - hot that's it. hot

Hot List - on the right column

from this page:

It's HOT alright

oH yes, I see it now, over in the videos.

It's purpose must be to make dear burger in the field.

Or perhaps if you are merely a collector of squirrel tails, you won't have to worry much about cutting it off, or eating any meat.

how about rabbits feet? We got rabbits . . . right out in the yard . . . I'm sure the neighbors won't mind . . .

nevada is right. You can expect nothing less from a bunch of thieves. If there is anything - and I do mean

  • if there is anything at all to be criticized here

it is the way in which these criminals are treated by society.

Do we treat them as criminals?

No.

the reception men like these universally receive from society is no different from that paid to royalty . . . and that with but a single exception. Unlike royalty, these men are granted the privilege of far greater privacy . . .

Barclays, likely owns a considerable number of PMs.

They own Detroit now too, but you're not supposed to notice.

look!!

Over there!

A politician!!

[-] 0 points by ZenDog (13506) from South Burlington, VT 5 months ago

o that's nothing - just try and wrap your mind around this

  • Barclays likely has a stake in the M107A1 - and if not that weapon in particular, then certainly in some facet of the arms industry as a whole, and they are in a position to understand very well the many and various permutations of . . . targeted advertizing . . . and they will never object to this kind of advertising, even IF or When such advertizing is aimed at someone like me within the context of their own business

now aint that a snake eating its own tail

Gosh, you mean America's not the only oppressor?

You mean there are other corporations in the World?

I wonder why we don't hear much about them?

I think you will find one of the worst offenders in the Nigerian Delta is primarily British, with some American money mixed in - Royal Dutch Shell

[-] -2 points by shooz (17863) 5 months ago

My bad. the quote was from Jack Hunter, Ayn Rand's Southern Avenger and bigot extraordinaire.

Libe(R)topians to the core.

[-] -2 points by ZenDog (13506) from South Burlington, VT 5 months ago

I had never heard it before - but strangely enough it does sound typical of libertarian conservative scum.

[-] -1 points by shooz (17863) 5 months ago

It was plea for Koch brother clemency.

Imagine that.

Imagine that.

[-] -1 points by ZenDog (13506) from South Burlington, VT 5 months ago

wait - you said that twice - shouldn't you be pulling your ear at the same time?

[-] -2 points by shooz (17863) 5 months ago

Actually, it reminded me of a lyric from Roger Waters.

But still, someone coming here to quote the "Southern Avenger"?

Imagine that.

Imagine that.

Libe(R)tarian bigots.

[-] -2 points by shooz (17863) 5 months ago

Sshhhhhh. You're not supposed to know, almost ALL oil corporation are based someplace other than America.

They just like to rape us, and pretend they're American.

I mean c'mon. We got people here now quoting multiple members of Reagans cabinet and another that has just quoted Ayn Paul's Southern Justice bigot.

Will be hearing from Pat Robertson soon?

[-] -1 points by ZenDog (13506) from South Burlington, VT 5 months ago

Pat Robertson?

ooo, I hope so . . . I hope he will tell us how the People of Atlanta have failed JESUS and so must be punished by the Icy wrath of God - maybe it's over their stance on Global Warming . . .

[-] -1 points by shooz (17863) 5 months ago

The sad part is?

It could happen, even here.

The libe(R)tarian infestation and co-option continues.

[-] -1 points by ZenDog (13506) from South Burlington, VT 5 months ago

o what? you find that would be somehow worse or different than say . . .

honestly, if any of them did come out and claim the ice storm to be God's retribution over Global Warming, I might be tempted to consider that a step up . . . .

[-] -2 points by shooz (17863) 5 months ago

They'll say whatever they think will get their"faithful" to send them money.

Little tiny mini money gods, they think they are.

corporations are made of people not numbers

[-] -1 points by shooz (17863) 5 months ago

No. Corporations ARE humans.

We no longer are.

They're bigger than us.
