Wonderful to see that. It reminds me of the US in the 1960's, when we were opening up from the vestiges of Victorian repression.

Australia is still a more innocent society then we are. I'm not saying less sophisticated or less intelligent, just more innocent. When I watch this I could almost tear up, thinking of where America once was, and where we are now. The vision we must achieve is so far from the reality of where we are now that I really think we need the prayers of the world. We have been overtaken by a darkness that is hard to dispell, and it is all over nothing but that most nebulous and profound enemy, the deamons that lie dormant in the human soul. These are dark times in America. Say a prayer for us.

what the &%$& are you talking about?

[-] 1 points by GypsyKing (8708) 12 years ago

Come on, damn it - you Canadians, and Austrarilans, and for that matter East Indians and Chinese Don't be afraid to express yourselves here! I am an American, and I don't give a damn about their cheap intimidation! Freedom of expression is what we are fighting for, so let's have it! Were sick of hearing just one insular point of view.

It's you that can enlighten us with your stories. This is about humanity: we need all of your input! I challege you to speak out here, regardless of whether you're ignored. Many here will hear you, even if they are too arrogant to respond. I want to know what the world is thinking, and I will give you whatever feedback that I think is of value. We are all in this together!

Thanks to Builder for entering this conversation. Let's hear everyones voices; hear the essence of your journey so we may be enlightened!

I might add, please, you in Australia, and in the rest of the world, get involved in the conversation here. We need compelling voices form around the world. This is a global fight for a more noble vision of human aspirations, and this is the place to make your voices heard. I, for one, will respond to every post I see from others around the world. This is nothing less than a diologue for the survival of humanity. This is it folks, if the resistance movement in America now fails, I doubt it will ever rise again.

Oh, I've been watching the #ows movement from the start. The movement had a small following in three of our capital cities, but our economy is still quite strong, and things are nowhere near to fiscal collapse as they appear to be in the US of A and Europe in general.

I've been watching US foreign policy for decades, and I've also participated in various American forums over the years.

Happy to spread the word when I can. I will say that several videos I've shared on facebook got removed without notification.

Keep up the good work. Like you say, this is a one-shot chance to make a real difference, while you still can.

All it takes for evil to succeed, is for good people to do nothing. (someone important said that).

I just posted this video as a bit of light relief from the serious side of things.

Thanks, we really need a little bit of humor here. You will probably see my follow up posts soon, and then you will need a little more comic relief.

A swear jar next to the tv, tele, bar, oh there's an app for that.

[-] 1 points by jomojo (562) 12 years ago

There used to be a swear jar, (.25$ per word 5$ max per week), where I worked, back in 1973. It was a sweat shop. Charlie, would put a 5 dollar bill in it on Mondays. Rather than a swear jar, (piggy bank), an Ipod application to automatically hear and draft the "fine", from your bank credit card, would work like a frequent flier plan. Nothing is funnier than Richard Pryor, but the rest of us should "swear off".

Please traslate that into something Americans can understand.

[-] 1 points by GypsyKing (8708) 12 years ago

Yeah, that's all Americans have been able to understand for neigh on these many years.

It's pathetic, but true.
