Demand justice and the rule of law be restored in our constitutional republic.

Imprisoned by rogue judge and prosecutor, Gov. Siegelman's best hope is now Obama's pardon. From his daughter Dana:

"We still need a hundred thousand signatures at http://www.change.org/petitions/president-obama-please-restore-justice-and-pardon-my-dad . That means constant publicity, posting on blogs, Facebook, and Twitter, emailing to friends, co-workers, and organizational listervs. It means putting a bumper sticker on your car or making phone calls to your friends in the media to cover the story.

The next 90 days are crucial. More than crucial - pivotal! We are going to move mountains by inaugural day.

I'm going to be traveling around the country rallying support. I'm going to be raising money for ads, materials for distribution, and hopefully an agent to help with publicity! I don't want to give up on my dad; I want to give it my all!

Dad and I had a long heart to heart yesterday in Oakdale, LA. He is hopeful but cautious, positive but realistic, angry but oh so funny. He made me laugh and cry all at the same time!

I promised him I would say thank you for him, that I would write and encourage you to work hard over the next ninety days. We need your talents, your connections, and your resources. Everyone has something to offer.

We cannot forget that Dad was dragged away in handcuffs and shackles five years ago and taken into solitary confinement because some people really do not fight fairly. We have to fight back (but fairly)!

Please join me in this movement, over the next 90 days, to free Don Siegelman. Tell everyone you know.

THANK YOU!

Dana and family

Totally outrageous, a criminal, political misuse of the law. Using the law for selective prosecution by Rove RATpublicans

Absolutely, the system is criminogenic.

Bastiat quotes:

"It is impossible to introduce into society a greater change and a greater evil than this: the conversion of the law into an instrument of plunder."

"When plunder becomes a way of life for a group of men living together in society, they create for themselves in the course of time a legal system that authorizes it and a moral code that glorifies it."

It seems we are simply waiting for the criminals in high places to overreach themselves. There's only scattered resistance - us. Mostly people keep asking why doesn't the A.G.'s office investigate and indict. . . . Hello? . . .

Do some research, there is a lot of evidence stacked up against him but what Gov is not corrupt?

Hunh?? Does that make sense? Do you speak english?

[-] -1 points by WeThePeop (-259) 11 years ago

Yes I do speak English and born in the US. It is unfortunate but there was evidence stacked up against him. But I repeat again, name one truly honest Governor, I do not think there is one that exist .

Evidence that he appointed Richard Scrushy to the same nonpaying position on a state healthcare board that an earlier Republican governor, James Fob, had also appointed Scrushy to?

I'm sorry but you freaks have overreached here.

The legal system has been turned and is now being used as a criminal weapon.
